Hey guys me again, as some of u know ill be transplanting my seedling soon. No clue what the best soil to buy is, but saturday im goin to home depot or lowes. Ive heard to add 20-30% perlite to it. Any suggestions? Also what nutes do i buy? Bit of a tight budget but i can do it

home depot carries promix and it works good. for cheap nutes for veg you could use fish emulsion. home depot carries that too stinks wicked tho

get fox farm ocean forest,............................. fuck HD OR LOWES go right the first time go nursery store or hydro

yup fox farm dosent cost much more than some of the HD soils unless your gonna buy one of the bags of mud they sell

i went cheap the first grow OMG did i fuck up bad jus buy the right shit an smooth sailin, i would tell any1 a 20 dollar bag of ffof will even get you through a few weeks no nutes but i went all out wit fox farm whole lineup an not 1 problem wit 7 plants

Is using the fox farm jungle grow soil mix good or no?

I use a barkless soil with peat, perlite, neem, lime and worm castings included. It's about $20 for 40l but it's local. But those are the quality's you should look out for.

i heard FFOF is to hot is that just for seedlings? im interested in FFOF and RO bec i heard roots isnt hot and drains better then FFOF

has anyone herd of mixing the 2 tog FFOF and RO?

Using Light warrior and ocean forrest from fox farms,50-50. my seedling has had no problem, first week in this mix. also, if short on cash, fox farms has enough nutes in it to get by till you have enough to purchase in near future for flowering. Heard good feedback on pro mix. don't buy any trash soil, best to spend a few xtra dollars now, wish I did awhile back.

i germ seeds right in ffof and have never burned a single plant.. people who say it's too hot for seedlings are idiots imvho..

is wish that was the case for me even when i start them in happy frog i get some burn so i switched to a cheap seed starter for the first 2 weeks

Tht is weird cause im talking about 5yrs,Since i changed from another well known brand to FFOF.And No its was not MG,:-o

LOL.

Beech think i hit bong 1 two many times

maybe it depends on the strain of weed? bec its back and forth with FFOF people who use it for yrs put there seedlings in it and have no prob then others say it burns there plants

cheap potting soil with perlite and coco (or peat moss if you must, but bogs are runing low, coco husks are not) and then add some good fertilizer like compost, manure or fish emulsion like that guy above suggested. anything that is being decomposed will be good for the plant, and last for months on end

Hey guys, first grow and this is the soil I started in http://mojogro.com/products/organic-potting-soil/ mixed it with ~35% perlite

Was an impulse buy, wondering if it was a bad choice because it holds so much moisture. Plants are seedlings in jiffy pots right now (another bad choice I think). Wondering if when I transplant I should switch soils? Will this hurt my plant to change to a different soil? Thanks !

Your soil mix sounds awesome. The soil looks and holds water like that because of wetting agent. Some plp use dish soap as wetting agentwhen non comes with.

Please do only check moisture weekly by looking in drain holes. Cannabis roots need dry soil to force them them to expand roots in search for moisture.

Overwatering will cause slow growth and extreme cases drooping and vegetative necrosis
