Thanks...After the 2 plants from my first grow are finished,(these autos are actually my second grow attempt, but I still haven't had a harvest yet) I think I'm going to use that cabinet to run another one of the Pineapple Express auto seeds I have. As good as she's looking in this little 2 gal pot, I'm going to drop one in a 5 gallon and see if I can get some good size and yield. I'm going to try to post an update on my first grow thread, but the pics I've emailed form my phone still haven't shown up in my email yet....

Hey man your autos look great. Did you grow them solely under cfls? I killed my p.e seeds by overwatering them. What "soil" are you using? And you said no nutrients huh ?

I did some crazy noobmix for these two. I had some left over MG potting mix that I used on my first grow before I read up on the advantages/disadvantages. I picked up some cheap, plain soil from the dollar store or somewhere and I had some MG Perlite already too. So I mixed approximately 45% potting soil/45%Perlite/10%MG potting mix. Also, I planted them in their final pots, about 2gallon. I was worried about overwatering, So I used a spray bottle until they were several inches tall and I felt they had a good root structure. I just made sure to mist the plant lightly and soil really good everyday, sometimes twice a day for about 2-2 1/2 weeks. Now I'm just watering normally, filling up the pot until I have a bit of runoff from the holes in the bottom and then not watering until the pot is light. Also, this week I've started using about 1/4-1/2 strength MG flowering nutes. I definitely don't have it down to a science, but so far it seems to be working for me. Also, I'm running under CFLs. I'm using about 10 23W mixed spectrum. I have noticed some leaves starting to yellow, almost like they are fading, so I'm thinking I have cal/mag def. I'm gonna pick something up this week and slowly introduce it....Any input from pro's on that would be greatly appreciated!

Figured I'd update here with a couple more pics. Forgive my cabinet, it's in shambles right now. Had to do some on the spot light moving. and I kinda tore it all up again. I do know that after I finish the two grows I have going right now, I'm going to use the screwuppery I've had so far to make my next grow better and more consistent.

still a lot of life happening, and then I got sick for a few days, so I haven't been on here much. I've missed getting to lurk around and read all the posts. Anyways, here's some updated pics. The first two are of the Nirvana NL auto, then the second to pics are of the Barney's PE Auto. I'd like some feedback from anyone that cares to view. This will be my first grow to make it to harvest. They are about 6 weeks from seed, I figure I have another 4-6 weeks to go, but would love to hear some thoughts. Thanks in advance!!

are you supplementing calmag?
and they look a bit overfed
and when you water in between feeds do you do you allow some run off ? like a mini flush every 1.5-2 weeks ?
MG ferts ?

I haven't picked up any calmag yet, I had some epsom salts and that got rid of a lot of the leaf yellowing. I don't use ferts with every watering, and I do allow for some run off with every feeding, whether its ferts or just plain water. I haven't been using full strength ferts, but I think the last time I fed, I mixed too strong. And yes...MG ferts, won't do that again. I found a grow store here local, well close to local, about 40 minutes away, so I'm going to look into some better food for the ladies next go around. About how long do you think is left? Also, I really appreciate you checking this out.

the feed you dont need run off but the waterings you do
you need some feed with less N even if its walmart stuff
honestly they dont look too far off 2-3 weeks at most
you can let them run alot longer but since the fans are kinda messed up its going to try and finish faster to make up for it
when you get dialed in you can let it run close to 4 months if you had the time
a little bit of N in flower goes a long ways with auto's

just remember from the start of your next ones less IS more until you have everything dialed in
a slightly under fed plant will usually yield more than a overfed one

Again, I really appreciate input. I'd rep ya, but it tells me I have to spread some around first. You must be the last person I rep'd

Here's an update with just a close up pic of the main cola of each plant. They are both 57 days from seed. The first one is the Northern Lights, the second will be the Pineapple Express.

I don't have a nice scope, but I have one of those cheap jeweler's loupes that's 45x. I tried taking a couple pics with my phone by holding it up to the loupe. I don't know how well you'll be able to see, but I'd like some input if possible. This is going to be my first harvest, I know I still have a little while to go, but I'm starting to get antsy! The first pic will be Ava, the Northern Lights and the second pic will be Penny, the Pineapple Express. Thanks for looking and for all the help I've been getting!
