Nitrogen

Hi everyone! I'm new here and am growing two plants. I have three questions:
1). the bottom leaves turn yellow slowly, which I have read would mean it needs some nitrogen. I bought some and instructions say to add 4 ml to a gallon of water. A friend said I should water it with this each time, but leaves are still turning yellow slowly. Would it be too much nitrogen if I water once a week (sometimes twice)? Also, it appears that it is in the beginning stages of buds. Could that be another reason? I don't want to lose them.

2). These are indoor plants and stand about 3.5 feet. Is that too tall? They are both very healthy and given the fact that I may be getting buds, I don't want to prune yet.

3). How do I bush out the plant, as they are tall but not bushy.

Thanks in advance.

We need pics and more info. I wouldn’t give anything else until forum sees them. Imho it sounds like you’ve overwatered and over fed . Possibly root problem. As far as height it depends how high you can raise lights. 3.5 sounds big imo for indoor tent grown. Bushy comes from training techniques and to a degree spectrum

If its 3 ft tall and healthy it could be just hungry but you should tell what you’ve been feeding and with some thought, once a week for a plant that size is under watering

Need to know what your growing medium is. Coco, soil, rock wool, DWC, aeroponics, NFT, all of them feed differently.
Well, since this is my first time, it's in miracle grow potting soil. What should it be in? What mixture? Is there a brand I could look for?

So maybe twice a week and would I water it with the nitrogen water all the time?

Plants need more than just nitrogen. If you feed you want a complete fertilizer that contains NPK and micronutrients.

Miracle-Gro potting soils already have nutrients in them so be careful adding anything as you could actually make things worse.

Still confused. What type of soil would you plant it in then (in order to safely add the proper nutrients)?

Here are 3 pics of them. The third are the two lights, which are very bright, warm and the plants respond well to them. Said to be natural light. I also attached a picture of the Nitrogen I use, and the nutrient that helps with the buds called, "Big Bud" which I only used twice.

That’s not a light!

This is a 300w LED actual wattage!

Yours must be about 10w!

Would a 300w LED work? and you don't have to laugh about it. I am learning and came here for help!

Depending upon light type you want approx 30-50w of light per square foot of space.

My space that I use to grow is 3ft x 3ft that’s 9square feet.

9x30w = 270
9x50w = 450

I’m a little over 30w per square foot.

when I was using HPS I was around 45w per square foot.

yes my picture above is 2 Plants.

I will agree with @jondamon on this, that is nowhere near the kind of light you need to be growing cannabis. It might be good for starting and keeping parsley alive, but for any type of yield, or cannabis you need to get a good light. There was a deal posted in the "Deals" thread last for a light that you could have picked up probably cheaper than those so called "grow lights" from Amazon.

I personally use ProMix HP, have for a long time. Anything "Miracle-gro", I would never let get near my plants. Use the search function, and study about nutrients, there are probably over 1,000 posts. Find something that YOU are comfortable with, run a couple grows, see how your plants respond, and if they aren't doing what you think they should, try something else. Everything is "trial and error" and is dictated by the environment that you provide your pants.
