Nitrogen question

Hi All.

Does anybody know if using an Oxygen product (Ozone generator, Hydrogen Peroxide) in your nute tank, will help convert Nitrites, to Nitrates???
IE, NO2 (nitrite) + O (the free highly reactive single Oxy atom) = NO3 (nitrate).
Any of you fish dudes know the score???

Just a thought, as the nitrifying bacteria are supposedly killed off at the PHs we usually run in hydro. (anything under PH6 or so I've read somewhere).

People run aquaponics setups, they are hydro and the biofilter converts nitrites to nitrates, you just have to find the middle range ph for the 2, hope that helped in some way
