Nitrogen Deficiency During Flowering and becoming extreme

IMG_1000000246.jpg This picture (taken May 3rd) is a few days old, so the yellowing of more leaves has progressed slightly(See pics at towards bottom of page). Does anyone know how to treat this problem (Nitrogen Deficiency) as its getting kind of extreme at this point. I started flowering on April 4th. I wondering if I should go out and buy some Veg fertilizer. and add that. Not sure how to treat this before it gets out of hand. Help...

PS. Please see pictures (Scroll Down to bottom of page) from tonight (May 8th). Deficiency has definetly become more extreme.
 
I feel like I don't have enough info on your grow to give you a good answer, but I'll say that its normal for older leaves to turn yellow and die off. I don't see anything that would make me overly concerned, but just to make, spend $3 on a soil test kit. Use the kit to double check your PH and the NPK levels. If PH is between 5.8 - 6.3 and your NPK levels are medium then I wouldn't be worried. If they turn out to be high or low then take appropriate action.
 
i know this is supposed to happen after a while during flowering. but is seems to more extreme than usual. Im beginning week 7.
 
I agree, it does seem a bit on the extreme side...Call a good hydro shop, they will tell you whats up....dont mention its a Cannabis plant...:shock:
 
Damn, I just took the Plants out of tent for feeding / watering and its (yellowing of leaves) really progressed. Now Im thinking maybe Molybdenum Deficiency (Very small possibility). SEE PICTURES.

for the 7th week of flower that looks COMPLETELY normal, that is supposed to happen, if you have too much nitrogen in your buds when you harvest it will effect the taste.
 
Def would need more information to give a good answer.
Guessing your issue is a lockout issue, and not an actual issue that will be solved by feeding more nitrogen.

Good info would be nutrients used, ph of your feed water, grow medium.

vindicateds advice to test the soil is a good idea. guessing your ph is off and locking out nitrogen.
i've always measured the run off water to test the medium ph, but a soil kit would prbly be better.
 
I feel like when it is lockout i see yellowing fan leaves sort of randomly placed around the plant. When it is real nitrogen def, it is just the lowest leaves and it works its way up as it progresses. Im no pro though.
 
Yes its just over a month since I started(April 4th) Flowering.
DETAILS:
-Soil
-Nutrient Solution pH: 6.3 - 6.5
-Soil pH (RunOff test): 7.4(yikes!) - This result is from 5 days ago(May 3rd)
-Nutrients Used: General Organics- Bio Thrive Bloom, Bio Bud (booster), CalMag+, Fox Farm Big Bloom, and Shooting Powder <--- (first Dose tonight May 8th)

I believe the high pH (7.4) is what might be causing the possible nutrient lock out as HeartlandHank mentioned. I have some hydrated lime here that I was concidering using to bring down the pH. Only thing is that it will bring the soil pH down to a min of 7.0. Its either that or just keep making my water / nute solutions at 6.3. 6.4 to get it down that way. I this point I dunno why its so high. I just started using a digital pH meter last week as opposed the the crappy 'fill and add 3 drops and compare' pH test, which would always show yellow when ever I got passed 6.0. So before using the digital meter i could have been in a range from 6.0 to 7.5.
 
If you can please let me know what you think about adding lime as Im just starting to feed/water my plant in a few minutes.
 
Lime is going to add Ca and Mg. How much Ca and Mg are in your nutrients? I wouldn't want more then 1000 ppm of Ca. to be absorbed by your plants. I don't know the exact requirements of your plants, but I'm guessing a safe range would be 200 - 800 ppm. If you can figure out how much Ca is in your nutrient mix, then you'll know if its safe to add lime.

thatsa no good.............check again. if correct, nudge down with a tsp of sulfur worked in/watered in, imo
 
Tonights total nutrient solution of kinda shy at 735ppm...I used CalMag+ (as i do with every watering/feed), FoxFarm Big Bloom, Shooting Powder.
