Nirvana's Aurora Indica - 400w Mh, Soil

Ok guys I've been seeing some symptomes on the largest buds that have me worried. I don't know if it's rot, or a deficiency or what!

Th small leaves sticking out of the large upper buds (only on this plant) have crinkled and died. Now, even some bits of bud are visibly dead. They don't stink (except like buddha of course), and there is no visible mold, it's dry and powdery. I have leaves with purple streaks and violet marks. Almost all the upper leaves are yellow, and now some are really dieing.

Has ANYONE seen this before?

the leaves will die off as the bud matures but if your bud is dying off it's gotta be some mold or rot i'd think. I know when my leaves die off i always try to pluck them so that when they decompose they aren't touching my buds.

maybe someone else can chime in,....but at this point in your grow i'd say F- it and just chop em.

I just cut that cola....

they look good to me if i needed smoke id get it....lol.
But seriously it's your bud your call. I can't see them packing on to much more wieght

I'm just hesitant because I really don't see many amber except on the lower side buds. The tops are all cloudy with some starting to turn amber. Just tryin to pick em at their dankest

i hope you post a smoke report cause im growing some and wanna know what to expect. Hope mine gets buds like that. here's a pic.
she's about 8 feet. Was twice as big cause i topped at 1 foot, damn wind storm broke the other half bout three weeks ago.

Jeeze guess that's one of the many perils of going outdoors... looks very healthy and large regardless. So you've haven't finished an AI outside or in? I can't wait to see her bud up. And that's a yes on the report. I'll make one soon as the first plant is dry. I smoked a couple popcorn buds with a bud last night and I was sufficiently incapacitated. A head buzz from the remaining cloudy/clear trichs, but mostly just a body stone from hell. Very potent.

I harvested the most mature of the AI today. She looks tasty! Tell me what you think...

wonderful looking i may grow AI again next year depends on how she finishes for me. Out side she has flowered early for me which i like she is already 3 weeks into flowering, only thing scares me is her lower leaves turning yellow and falling off, just seems to early for that. But your buds are wonderful + rep coming your way man good job.

I got one AI in my flower room, not nirvana genetics, the plant wont get over 16 inches tall and I vegged for 7 weeks, is that normal?

Looks like a pretty nice grow. I just harvested an AI about 1.5 months ago, and yielded right around what you think you're getting, 2 oz dry. Nice fruity smell to the nugs after they have cured for a month. Nice heavy body buzz. I'm pretty much growing 50% AI and 50% Full Moon, so I have a mix of meds depending on what's needed.

Beautiful. I was thinking of getting this strain as my photo next year (outside) to go along with some autos. tristynhawk, if i knew i could get my plants half as good as yours, even after your disaster ide grow AI next year for sure.
