Nirvana Short Rider and Bomb Seeds Big Bomb Grow Journal

Hello people,
This is my first real try at growing ever. I ordered my seeds form The Attitude, They came in in a little over a week. The package contents
-5 Fem autoflowering Nirvana seeds Short Rider seeds
-1 Fem photoperiod Bomb seeds Big Bomb seed
-1 Fem autoflowering dinafem seeds Critical + Automatic (UFO freebie)
(Pictures in same order as listed, also not my actual plants)

I that day threw 4 short rider seeds and the big bomb seed into a paper towl wet with store bought spring water, put them into ziplock back, closed it, then put the bag and now germinating seeds into a plate and placed another plate upside down on top. I then sat the plates with the seeds inside on top of my dvd player to keep it warm.

I planted the first SR seedling in some Burpee organic seed strarting mix and then put it in my grow box on 1/7/12, then another SR was ready by 1/10/12 so i did the same with it. So far the first short rider is only 4 days old and its already slightly above an inch out of the soil, number two hasnt compleatly broken soil yet, but i can see it pokeing out a little bit, it should emerge by tomorrow. The othere two SR seeds and the BB seed are still germinating, They have all cracked their shells but only one of the SR seeds has a little tap root starting to come out so far. Ill give the others about another week tops to germinate after that if they havent germinated i will pronounce them dead.

Here is the one SR sproutlet so far at 4 days old.

Feel free to post in my journal if you would like, I welcome feedback from anyone on anything. mean time i keep uploading pictures and carry you through my grow as i go through it.

lookin good man im doing my first grow to found out quick not to let the stems strech to tall make sure the lights are close to them use your had to judge if its hot on the hand it too hot for the plant

Well I have only one small light at the top of my grow box, one thats specifically ment to enhance the light spectrum and the other two are 24 in long tube grow lights but they go down the side of my grow box, if they are on the side does this still apply

Well your gonna laugh but..
right now i germ via wet paper towel in bag, then they move to my grow box which consists of a 4ft tall, 3ft wide cardboard box, but a very thick one. on one side at the top there is a tube with an intake fan in it and at the bottom on the other side the is an ehxaust fan. for lights im using 2 24in regular fluorescent grow lights and one grow bulb at the top, the grow bulb is supposed have a wider light spectrum. I also have a whole room for all this so i have two old matresses leaned up around with a thick sheet thrown over it outside the box to keep heat and not let any light get in during flowering.

pretty quickly thrown together and cheap too. it seems to be doing the job for now. But for sure stay posted, ill keep updateing

yea man im subbed ive got a very basic grow space a built in cupboard and a 150w hps seems to be working well enough :D cant wait to see these babys grow and d.w i didnt laugh ive seen much much worst

nice man, i was thinking about doing a PC box for seedlings but i think ill just stick to my grow box

yea just stick with your grown box and 1 day along the line get a wardrobe and use that will work wonders :D hope ur ladies turn out good :D

Im a little worried that i might not have enough light. I have two 24in flour. lights going up the side and one bulb light at the top.

UPDATE:
SR #1 - planted on 1/7/12 is doing amazing, started to form aonother set of leaves.
SR #2 - planted on 1/10/12 is also doing well, it broke soild and is starting to form its first.
SR #3 - Germinating
SR #4 - Germinating
BB - Germinating

I plan to plant SR #3 and my BB today sometime if they are ready.
