i've been vegging the nicole x banana og plants for about a month now. going to flip soon. i'll do another update/post a review thread when they're done but i thought i'd show what i've learned about this strain so far since some people seem interested

indica dominance noticeable, super bushy, tight node spacing. strong plants. resilient and responds well to training. snapped a stem almost clear off and it healed in about 24 hours. also from what i can tell in veg all 3 plants are very similar. we'll see how they flower. plants were each topped once and i count 10-15 tops off each one with that and LST. so far this strain has been a pleasure to grow, but the proof will be in the pudding!

here are some pics:

Pure power plant worth a try or should I go with white label seeds or professional seeds for this strain
Ive grown a few different breeders power plant, neither you listed, but nirvana's was the only one to have a dank pheno out of 10 regs.

Dense ass buds, had a honey combs cereal taste but smelled like dog shit. It was a kick ass pheno. That was 2008-9 though so a long time ago.

I'd grow Misty again. Easy grow, potent flowers, long time ago. Smelled like dirty socks, exactly as advertised.

Pulling this thread back lol but just enquiring.. I got Girls Scout Cookies from Nirvana. Got 5 of them and 1 free Autoflower Amensia haze. The auto is normal seed size but the GSC's are really small lol. Im surprised. Has anyone else had this experience with seeds before?

This is my first time growing with proper genetics

Wouldn't worry about seed size. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

I beg to differ. GSC has giant calyxes. Larger calyxes = larger seeds. To hear someone say these are tiny has convinced me to not try them at all.

Been pulling buds from a jar of PPP for a month or so, grown from a seed bought 3 or 4 years ago. This pheno had good yield, hard tight buds, very bright orange hairs & a complicated aroma with coffee being the strongest smell. The taste is similar to the smell, complicated with lots of different undertones. If you walk into a room where someone else smoked it, it smells almost like cheap cigar smoke.
While not top notch, it's certainly a decent strain. Most definitely worth the price.

Edit: Just remembered I shared some of this with a fairly new smoker yesterday. I'll update when I get a review.

I have tried several strains from Nirvana and seems to me all there seeds are small and greyish in color. All but one seed (ak-48) has popped and all have grown into beautiful, bountiful plants. I have a gsc about 5 weeks into flower right now and so far so good. Hope this helped!

Nirvana produces a decent product for a good price. In the world of breeders, the saying "you get what you pay for" really fits with Nirvana. I dont think the saying works for the industry entirely (ie 100$+ packs), but with Nirvana, you spend 30$, get some good fems or regs, and they're great for learning and perfecting the craft.
