Nirvana Seeds Seized by US Customs

nothing will happen to you, other than a lovely letter for keepsakes, and man o man, talk about a bunch of bad info all in one thread, jesu, i think this has taken the cake so far.. only use the usps for stuff like this, as any other shipping company like fed ex or ups can open your package at anytime for any reason, and say so all over their offices.. the usps can only open a package if it's ripped open and the ship to addy is missing... either that, or the post master general is the only other person who is legally allowed to open up packages, other then of course customs if it's coming from outside of the country..
i've gotten one letter in over four years or so of ordering seeds online.. my order was taking over about a month, so i contacted the breeder i bought the beans from, sannie, and told him about the length of time my order was taking, and he agreed, way too long, and simply resent them, no questions asked.. a week on the dot i got my package, opened it, and it had my beans in it.. the very next day, i see another package from sannies, if you've ever ordered from him in the past before he changed up his stealth, you'd know how i knew it was from sannies by just looking at it... when i went to open the second package, i noticed that it had been stapled shut, and my heart sank immediately.. upon opening it, i got the infamous, we have your stuff letter.. it said that someone tried to mail me some form of contraband.. and below that it had a list of different things that are considered contraband, including fireworks, steriods, and amyl nitrates, and the last on the list was drugs, and hand written next to the drugs box it said seeds...
i still order to the same addy each time, and nothing has every happened, this was proably a good two or so years ago now may i add.. just don't call the number on the letter or show up to their offices and say you want your stuff back, and it will all be brushed under the table ime...

Its good too see somebody else see's whats going on here,this place is rife with seed company shills & fertilizer company reps,with the occasional yoyo pushing some new fangled grow system.

I used to chastise them when they were on the anti dr chronic kick until fdd started jumping on me for it,now i just figure a fool & his money........we all know the rest.

I love how everyone on this site apparently has their law degree, and is so available to give "great" info. I read more posts that are incorrect on here than posts that are correct. If you don't know if what you are saying is true, then just STFU!! Some poor sap might actually think you know what you are talking about, and take your advice. And as researchkitty stated, if it were legal here, then why are you buying seeds from another country with stealth packaging? If its legal, just go pick some up at the corner store......

i usually make around 2 orders a month from various breeders / banks, and usually the quickest i get any of them to the east coast of the us is 2 weeks... now if it goes much past a month, i'd start to worry...
and now if you live in or order anything out of canada, you can expect some real waiting times as the canadian post is on strike atm, and packages are therefore taking much longer than normal to get to you..

Yes seeds have trace amounts of THC, that is why they are illegal. What kind of bogus info is this post. Maybe you are thinking of mushroom spores, they are legal to buy and sell because they have no illegal substances in them as long as you aren't cultivating them.

Yeah there is hellla thc in seeds. fuck the bud lets all start smoking seeds. And Santa Claus landed his Clusterfuck of reindeer on my roof. And those aren't Mormons riding there bikes down the street with suits on. They are businessman who can't afford to drive to work.

You may think that no one cares, but your details are now on a federal database - piece by piece they collect information, never know when or whether it may come in useful. Data storage is so cheap and search engines so efficient, at least you know that there is a "file" with your name on it now.

I'd negative rep you if I could. Seeds contain zero THC, not even trace amounts. They contain trace amounts of NPK so the plant can grow from seed. That's it. No THC. Welcome to RIU, newbie.

TONS of new people in THIS thread. HMMMMMMM (cough). Cut it out seed company spammers it just gets your IP Class C banned. =)

The whole government is out to get a guy who bought a few seeds. I'd be scared for sure. they are going to fly out in their little helicoptor, ride up in their black suv, and give you a ride to the looneybin. yeah your fucked. The FBI has nothing else better to do except maybe spend their time screwing over the cartels and gangs for the billions of dollars in drugs they handle. If you thinks marijuana seed are legal, ok, whatever makes you sleep better at night. I mean every knows marijuana isn't bad, its just illegal. Its like masterbating in a airplane....

I'm expecting to get one of those letters as well since i ordered some snow white seeds that were part of the weekend whopper sale on the 6th and still haven't received anything yet. It's a risk i was aware of and willing to take, but it still sucks. fml

i had a problem getting seeds from nirvana, i emailed them and they made it right by resending the seeds a diffrent way. i got the replacements seeds fast like 3-4 days max.
