Really appreciate that fist pic as it makes your method very clear.
I never came across CSC before, must do a bit of reading up there. I know what you mean about the UK. Bumping MJ back up to class B was a real smack in the chops. And I thought there was supposed to be a common agricultural policy in Europe. Yeah right :(

YO CV wow itz bin hot:fire: ad 2 shut down me mama/clone box in me new unit bloom box woz cookin so sorted a new mama/clone box seprat from da bloom box. Took out da lemon drop an stuck her outdoorz replaced her wiv a challangin 4 in a pot grow day r about same age az me old mama so xtra nugz oh yeh. Anywayz sum update piccys.

First 27 days in pictures! 12/12 from seed.

Hi there MACLAD & V12 :-) Been busy for the last week or so, but I've been taking pics so here goes with latest update:

Thought it might be good to post up a series of pics showing development from up to day 27.

Just to recap on method: 12/12 from seed grow, so day 1 was the day they broke the soil :-)

350watts CFL's, 2 plants per pot (as usual!), LST. Nutrients are Bio Bizz grow/bloom & canna PK 13/14. To date just plain water PH 6.2.

So here we go then, I'll let the pics do the talking by adding notes to the images if you enlarge them (hope I get them in the right order!!):

MACLAD, looking good friend, agree about the heat last week, I struggled to hold them down too but when the suns out I just shut it down and let that big growlamp in the sky do its work....they love it :-)

wow CV!! lots of great progress. i havent been on in a while cause i got some work. check out my outdoor, ill have sum pics up soon of the major new growth.

I'll add latest pics tomorrow, they've come on in the last 3 days! They're just a day over 4 weeks from germination and I expect to harvest a round the 70/77 day mark so we should see some good bud development over the next 6/7 weeks.

wannabee, its worth checking Randy Rockets big 12/12 from seed thread, plenty of us here doing it.

FS, I'll have a read of your thread to catch up later :-)

Day 32 today. Updating as I took a couple of cuttings and I want to record the start date!

Really exploding now with growth, I took the 2 cuts from the least advanced of the 4 plants.

Again the images have notes added to them :-)

There are clearly 2 phenos happening here, I've noticed before that the NL has a short, bushy pheno, faster finishing with denser buds and a slightly more slender leaved pheno that stretches more and has slightly 'looser' buds and I like the latter pheno personally. I took my cuts from her and you can clearly see which one I am refering to?

I took off for the weekend but the girls all did ok without me :)
Did you get away too?
Loving the pics of the new girls and especially the Bubba nugs :)
Are you taking cuttings from the plants under 12/12 there?

Did you notice there's a Memories of Woodstock festival in Shrewsbury 2nd weekend of August? A band called Space Ritual are playing. It's ye olde Hawkwind Crew and they even have an exotic dancer! Not as Amazonian or as prone to nudity as the previous encumbant but still a nice diversion :)
Not sure why they have memories of Woodstock in Shrewsbury but wtf :)

I saw them at the council chambers in Chester a couple of years ago and had a great night.
Looks like they are doing a warm up gig in Wigan the night before the fezzy too and that's just a hop and a skip from me so I'll be checking them out there for sure.

Nice. Thanks for the update CV, I was wondering how they were doing. Looks like they are going to be just as good, if not better, than your last grow. I gotta get my indoor gro started, but been procrastinating. Your journal makes me want to get off my ass and just do it.

Hi there v12xjs :-)

Been busy myself last week or so, eldest daughters moving into her first place with her b/f so been doing loads of running around! He's a sound guy though, he told me she had said before we met, "you'll get on well with my dad, he loves his cannabis!" :joint: It's nice not to have to hide it.

Anyway, that sounds like as good weekend :-) I'll check the band out. Just looked at the web site, I see Nik Turners there so must be pretty good, the 'mission' page made me laugh :-) We don't get many good bands around down here, just the usual pub bands. Makes me laugh, one regular band consists of 3 skinny guys in thier fifties who are all Lemmy look alikes :shock: Really funny in thier leather trousers and studded jackets etc, but they just dont quite cut it you know! Subject of music I've been listening to lots of a band who used to be big favourites of mine back in the late seventies/early eighties...... Welsh band called 'Budgie' (album cover avatar) rediscovered them on YouTube and been dowloading everything I can find.... its funny seeing those old covers that I used to have on vinyl back in the day.

Glad the grow is going well, I'll catch up with you on the site.

Gave the plants a first dose of Bio Bizz grow yesterday, 5ml per 2 litres. I'll switch to the bloom in a couple of weeks then give them a single shot of canna PK 13/14 about 3 weeks from finish.

2 clones looking healthy :-)

Day 34 from germination, 12/12 from seed grow. Nirvana Northern Lights, feminised x4.

Images again have notes added to them if you enlarge them. Bit more LST this morning on 2 plants only. Yesterday had a feed of Bio Bizz 'grow' 5ml per 2 litres. Almost time to switch to the bio bloom soon :-)

Had some silver reflective mylar sheeting delivered yesterday to re line my cabinet with today :joint: and replace the crinkly foil!

That's some serious development CV. Very healthy specimins too.
The penny just dropped how quick they were to show sex from germination. 18 days? That's as quick as an auto strain!

Who could forget all those Moorcroft inspired album covers? I remember Budgie too :)

v12, its been a couple of years since I grew the NL, but I'm still convinced (infact even more so now!) that the Sphagnum Moss is doing the business down there for me :shock: The daily growth rate is really self evident now. The next 6/7 weeks will really show us what this stuff can do but for now its holding moisture constantly by those roots, it never dries out yet the plants look vigorous and healthy. Theyre drinking 1 litre water each, every other day, just enough to start a slight 'drip' from the bottoms :-) I think they will handle more!

I'm with you m8. Growth rates in my cab are downright scary!
I had to transplant Terra last week and root growth in the moss is way better than soil/perlite alone. I wonder if the 6.5ph value of the moss is also helping.
The cutting I put in moss without any hormone is looking very sweet now too.

I've always been a bit on the short side. I'm wondering if I should fry some up for myself :)

DaBull, I apologise but I dont understand your question, what are you refering to?

UPDATE, DAY 39 FROM SEED, 12/12 grow from germination.

Usual 2 shots for comparison. I'm going to try and stitch together all the pics so far into a single image to show development!

The 2 cuttings are also doing well, very health after 7 days, I'll have a check for signs of roots later on.

More pics! Its clear now that one pot is ahead of the other into flowering as you can see.

Plants look sweet CV. As ever :)
Guess there's nothing wrong with the biobizz nutes. Searching around on sphag moss I got a link to their soil as they use 20% in their recipe. I may try some.

Looks like there's a lot more colas on the slower plants. Wonder if that's why they're behind. The bigger ones already look like another set of mean tickling sticks :)
Damn I wish I had more soil space :(
