Organics are definitely easier than synthetics, in my opinion. No flush, you pretty much don’t have to pH unless you have really wide and inhospitable fluctuations which aren’t very likely, and it buffers itself.

See, with synths, you have synthetic chelated/salt-bound nutrients that need to be within a certain pH range to be taken up into the rhizosphere; you’re forcefeeding the plant. In organics, you aren’t feeding the plant, you’re feeding the microbes and fungi in the soil, which eat the organic matter and shit out what the plant can take up. The mycorrhizae, in particular, bind to the roots and pass nutrients to the plant in exchange for the roots giving up its starches. It really is a beautiful and wonderful natural process, for sure. Circle of Life right in your home’s closet or grow tent.

Wow 41 lb? Yea that will last mpre than a couple grows for sure.. thanks alot, i had no clue about this stuff
No, like 4lbs of the Nitro Bat Guano, 4lbs of the Seabird Guano, 4lbs of the Elemental CalMag, 4lbs of each of the Uprising Trio, then 3-4oz of the OregonismXL. It’ll probably last way more than a couple grows.

Anytime, man.

Just ordered a new light..viparspectra 600w.. preparing for the transition to flower.. i skipped a week because things were pretty much the same. Fortunately I've seen some changes and some growth. I did top 2 of the other plants.. i left the aurora indica alone.. it was definitely stunted but it seems to be producing some new growth now. Im almost 30 days in but im probably going to give them the week or two of recovery i mentioned b4. The aurora indica will not be topped.. just trained IF necessary.. ill be able to put up my trellace net in abouy a week or 2 hopefully.. then i flip the switch. Ill be updating w/ pics over the weekend.. probably sunday..Monday at the latest.

Ill say it first, this is a pretty shitty grow. Can't wait to flip the switch and flower them out. I hope ateast my biggest plant is a female.. id have no complaints if i get that. My 600w viparspectra just arrived so i may flip the switch sooner rather than later and wrap this up asap

I’d wait a couple more weeks, personally.

900 watt (equivalent) LED.. one light is 300w the other is 600w (equivalent) .. not sure about the true wattage from the wall with these lights.. both lights have only veg switches on.. will use veg and bloom switches during flower

Yeah +1 for waiting a little longer, would be nice to see their sex before flipping.

I'm not sure about coco, maybe you should go back to soil? The one looks like its struggling quite a bit. How far away are those lights?

Yea i may switch back to soil after this.. or maybe a soil/coco/perlite mix .. the lights were over 35 maube even 40 inches away. I just lowered them to 18 inches from the top of the tallest plant.. too close?

As you know I have 450w Viparspectra's. When my first batch was 3-4 weeks, I had 2 lights over 4 plants at 22-24 inches. They got as close as 18" before I added the HPS and had to back off because of the heat.

My 2nd tent however, is much smaller. There are 4 of them under 1 light and have all been under 20" away for a long time. The only one that I didn't top is now only 9 inches away with no issues. The tent is a 32"x32"x63" so I've had the light as high as it could go pretty much from the start.

My 450w Viparspectra's are 200w actual, so yours are probably pretty close to 400w total for the 900w. 18 inches should be ok, but maybe slowly bring them in as not to shock them too much? Also, I have had both veg and bloom switches on pretty much right from the start.

20180407_123906.jpg so firstly in the image above and below we have the aurora indica which is still doing shitty but since being topped has showed healthy new growth from the lower nodes.. at this point i wouldnt be sad if this was a male..dunno if its was just a bad bean or me but from the start this plant has just been awfully stunted20180407_124023.jpg
20180407_124239.jpg the picture above and below is the another indica dominant plant. The fimming went really well. Im very happy with the amount of tops that came from it and probably will not top again20180407_123012.jpg
20180407_121518.jpg above and below the other indica dominant which is now coming along nicely20180407_121506.jpg 20180407_122733.jpgabove and below is what i believe to be a sativa dominant strain.. still doing excellent. Still growing vigorously. Really banking on this to be one of if not the only female. Heres to hoping!20180407_122547.jpg
The rest of the pics are just an overall veiw of everything.. ill be back in a week or two with updates and pics20180407_123204.jpg 20180407_123410.jpg
