Nirvana Feminized Wonder Women / DWC Hydro Grow

Hey what's up everyone,

I am currently growing two feminized Wonder Women from Nirvana. I also have two other plants growing which are unknown. They were freebie's from Nirvana :bigjoint:

They are about 3 weeks old right now. I recently overfeed them and got some nute burn which I am currently working on right now. On top of that I got heat stress from having the t-5 took close. Here's a little info on my set up.

New Wave 4 foot 4 bulb H/O T-5 Bulbs for Veg.
Dark Room 120
Vortex 6" Inline Fan with Carbonaire Carbon Filter
Hanna combo pen

Now for my nutes I am using Advanced Nutrients. I currently have Sensi two part A+B in conjunction with some Voodoo Juice. Any advice in highly appreciated! This is my first grow! All I could say is that growing could get really addicting.

Ok, Today i added the 400w metal halide system to get more lumens on the plants. Every seems to get going good so far. I will keep everyone posted as promptly as possible. Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my journal. Thanks!

I got the Feminized Wonder Women too, but no room to grow it yet. They are some very nice looking plants, they look very similar to Aurora Indica at that stage of growth. I'm subed, I want to see how she grows, yields and taste! Good luck!

Just snapped these today. I will be doing a res change tomorrow. I had some severe nute burn due to not having a ppm meter. Now that has changed, I been watching her like a hawk.

Hey everyone, the plants seem to be growing very well. Today I will be doing res change to bump up the ppms :leaf:

I try to keep the ph around 5.8 at all time. During the flower period I will let it go up to about 6.0. I am using only distilled water, Here is some updated pictures. Any input is welcome.. I feel like im talking to myself lol

Wow.. Looking good man!! When do you plan on flowering them?? I am currently growing Nirvana's feminized White Widow.. and it is growing AWESOME!! I was looking at the Wonder Woman.. Everyone always egts White Widow and Wonder Woman confused since they both are WW. But keep up the good work man!! Looking good!!

Thanks bro, I'm looking to veg her for another two more weeks. Then I will flip it on 12/12. I looked at your previous grow and it looked great! I tell you what, Wonder Woman are some heavy eaters!

hey everyone, its been about a week since I put a picture up of the ladies growing. I had a slight ph problem which happend due to me running out of the liquid general hydroponics version. I started using powder and the ph wouldnt stay at a certain level. Bought some more liquid ph down and the ph is finally starting to stay around 5.8-6.0. I do have a question, my lower leaves look really crispy and dry, would could cause this?

just got the same fem strain. supposed to yield big i hear. you gonna just let it go or top it or fim it or what? also hear its really tough to nutes. how many ppm/ec you runnin?

I feel like that sometimes my self as well! ......Is anybody out there........... Plant looks nice and healthy! How tall are you going to let them grow before flowering? I don't have any more room, so I started a feminized Wonder Women Mother plant at a friends house. My plan is to cut clones there and bring them back to my place just to flower. We'll see how it goes, I hate leaving a plant under someone else's care!

Thanks guys for some responses, the reason I picked this strain is due to her yield. Right now I am at 1000ppms and ec at 1.42. I wont start feeding her real heavy until I start the flower phase. I dont know if I should top her or not what do you think? I mean she is already almost 12 inches tall. Not sure how big they could really get.

i say slam em. wwoman is tough and greedy. always hungry. 22 or 2400 ppm isnt something every strain can handle. started some today. ill not be fimming these but instead bringing up 4 main tops and packin em in a room like sardines. fresh air and they can handle it. as far as your nutes go, the more nutes=less water uptake. less water means a thicker tougher cell wall. gives it more flavor and potency but smaller yield. i know it dosent seem to make sense at first but thats the way it goes. every time. i prefer better other than more. get less nutes=more water uptake and you have faster growing plants with higher yields. but it makes fat little cells with thin weak walls. the yield difference isnt much really. if theyre already a foot tall and not sick lookin my opinion would be to start bumping up the ppms. lots of changes going on during the switch to 12/12 and you dont want the plant dealing with the major ppm changes as well. would start making those adjustments if it was mine. but ive heard opinions are like assholes. ima sub and best of luck to ya!

Thanks Crazy, I didnt know about the water intake/nute theory. I just did a res change today and bumped up the ppms too 1100. The other two plants which I have no idea which strain they are??? I kept them at 1000 ppms. This will be the final weel before I switch it over 12/12. When I start the flowering process I will increase the ppms and see how she handles it.
