lol i feel so bad for you guys in the mainland where theres things to worry about in the dark... I love the fact that if i'm prepared nothing will go very bad.

oh yeah by the way no one needs to be scared of watering at night. I bring plants up in the night all the time and when ifirst started out i got pretty screwed , but when i prepared my self with cammo BDU's from the military shop, a fat blade (knife,) a really good light, and some palen trays to carry them I have pulled some nice crops by my selk and some redicilus crops with my homie slacker. the secret is to be prepared...

last night was so scary. It was a night hike, but its.. very close to some roads. I am packing all the water my backpack can hold, I kneel down because I see blinking, and this tiny light on the ground blinks like every 10 seconds, I am trying to locate it, if its some sort of motion detector I'd know it was busted.

but before I could look very long, I heard noise in the bush behind me in two different directions
so I was like fuck that and just crept through the grass to another exit and got out of there. I hung around the area but hidden, where I could see if anyone would come out the other exit points, and saw no one..

I assume that it was just animals because it was only a half hour after dark, and I saw tracks around the woods. But still, i heard what sounded like a pretty big branch snap, how can a deer or fox snap branches?

I'm so glad i didn't smoke before going, I would've been even more freaked out and paranoid.

Anyone know if motion sensors beep a green light?
I'm thinking the safest would be to just never go back, I am scared that if its a motion sensor, it sent info to whoever put it there that there was motion, and around harvest time there will be motion cameras or something.

EDIT: sorry for the long ass story being high does that, and also, there were lots of thorns ouch

jeez goose commander be nice. poor guy was scared shitless. now ur gunna make him feel retarded. paranoia sucks, but u need a healthy dose of it. if a deer steps on a stick its going to break and make a noise.

ok guys I deserve that one, I think the being high while telling the event didn't help either. I just was freaked out that I really was hearing noises from two different directions, coming toward me, so I thought better safe than sorry and left. I'm not stupid I swear, I'm just a noob when it comes to this kind of thing. Thinking about it I know I overreacted

gnarliest thing around this area is a fox I know that
we have coyotes here in bunches and they aren't afraid of humans, expecially at nightime. recently, they chased one of my 600lb cows thru electrified barb wire fence. luckily, she was bawling loud enough for me to hear her and plus I heard the coyotes screaming, thus shot my rifle in the air several times to scare them off. she was cut up from the barbwire, but other than that all is well. I shoot them bastards anytime I see one! they're sly as hell!
