Hey guys just wanted to check in. Can't wait to hear about Loops harvest. Irie I am very interested to see your soil mix in action, please keep us updated. Bubba has an awesome looking crop on his hands, nice job!

My little garden is doing great, at least I think so, will get some pics tomorrow.
Lately I've been giving them

Medusa 10 ml
Gaia 10 ml
Atheans 10 ml
Demeters 10 ml
Kraken 10 ml
Aphrodites 10 ml
Herc 20 ml
Zeus 5 ml
Oly Up
SLF-100 5 ml
PH has been 6.3-6.4
PPM 1450

And they are loving it! I flipped on 10/3 and have pistils showing. Tomorrow is a tea day, and by the way I am sure you all know Karkens smell is horrible.

So much for just checking in! Today was a tea day, I didn't use any Herc in this tea mix just figured I would try it, that was 6 hours ago. Checked on them just now and a couple of plants are not happy. It seems like they get this way when ever I am not constantly feeding them. Just so I am correct on tea day it should be water +/- Herc and EZ Tea or do you mix the tea in with a regular feed?

with 20 days to go ride it out .. these nutrients are not like salts and stay green longer .... with 20 days you got 4 maybe 6 feedings then its ripen time ... watch the "fall colors " come in ......she also looks a tad bit over watered too., but your pretty late in the game ...happy growing !!!
Yeah she’s two weeks out today so I’m going down to half strength and just flush/teas next week. I think I discovered that at one point she was a bit K deficient so I started adding Meta-K (Earth Juice), and I think I’ve given her excess K, now I’ll cut that out and should remedy that leaf issue. She’s definitely not overwatered, definitely not an expert but I am a user of the light pot method ;)

tea should be just that , TEA ...again it depends on your slurry ? you can do a tea/ feed but wouldn't do it all the time.......not happy ? drooping a little ?

she should be fading pretty good... usually ill see the fade and fall colors at week 7 till finish .... I like to starve them a little to get the plant to pull from the leafs and get that fade ...

Corn SST is some powerful stuff.....less is more, just stick to the recipe and your gold!! Great foliar during transition.

EZ Teas can be mixed with feeds, especially if slurries are low ppm.......Tim McCormick said it best, " they should never go a day without Calphos".......nectar is like heroin, once they get that taste; there is no going back; quickly become addicts!!

I think buildasoil does a nice video, or maybe it's a tutorial.......they have a quick recipe using malted barley too but there is no replacement for live sprouts!!
il check them out im just learning about it so i don't have a recipe as of yet, but yes less is more

Yes a couple were drooping a little, one was really droopy, thats the one that caught my attention. One thing I was happy about is I knew exactly what I was looking at and how to correct it.

Good to know Irie, on the morning of my next tea day I will slurrie before and make a decision. I agree they are addicts, maybe it is time for another bump. I am going to look over the charts and modify what I've been giving them, I got a couple hours till lights on.

Also a question. Should I help the soil out a little and sprinkle a little One Shot on them to help out? I got some awhile ago for the next run wanted to run a plant with just #4 and One Shot to see what happens.

I wanna say 2-4 oz of corn, soak for 24 hours ( Ful-power helps), then strain off water and rubber band a paper towel over top of container and leave in a dark cupboard at room temp for 24 hr., then remove lid and re-soak & strain off, then cover and back in the cupboard......do this till all seeds have cracked and have a 1/2" - 3/4" tap root tail. Then put in a blender or food processor with fresh water and blend real good, strain this into a container to separate solids and now you have a super concentrated enzyme & plant hormone concotion that can be used in feed water or even better if its bubbled with a tea brewer for 2 - 4 hours. I want to say its a 1/4 cup of concentrate per gallon when mixing. Coconut water is similar but no real comparison to live sprouts.

Hey Everyone,

Figured id follow up on the BK update.

C99 didnt show any signs of deficiencies.
PP (kush) clawed like it generally does.

So thats rad. Wish kush handled BK better though, i wonder why that is.

#########

Also For Irie/Bubba. Something you may look into for helping people.

Ive been using a new method for watering thats been amazing. I think alot of newbies (like myself) could save so much time by using it. You use the general lift the pot method for seeing how light the pot is.

But even when it gets down there. Its questionable.
If you dust away the top dried soil.

Place the back of your hand onto the soil.

Is it cold at all? Even just a slight amount.
Give it another day if so.

If you place your hand to it and you feel 0 temp difference. Water it.

Hope that helps someone.

The way I look at it with genetics that don't like BK is they don't like being force fed. And most that get fussy from BK is usually just from the foliars, most can handle the rootzone BK application. Like anything, I'm sure it can be dialed though........I can get a beneficial BK response from 1 ml per quart foliars, BK is potent and like all things grow, we find what works and what doesn't.

And with watering, every grower environment going to be different, and especially the genetic. Some genetics like it overly dry and some can handle being soaked, others like a constant moisture so you can pot lift, and use your knuckle they are good tools, but gotta learn to read the plant too and it will tell you when its time to water again. I find the best way to figure out a plants watering needs is early on when first getting established, I use consistent volumes and push waterings until the plant goes limp before watering again so I learn the threshold of the plant and the signs.

Hey guys, just did a slurrie test and still 6.2 PH with a ppm of 120. Been giving the feeds daily at 1400-1460 ppm. They are happy when feeding them but just eat it all up. I guess it time to start cranking more?

Ok tell me what ya think, I just hit em with the following.

Medusa 15 ml
Gaia 15 ml
Athenas 15 ml
Demeters 10 ml
Mega Morpheus 15 ml
Kraken 10 ml
Aphrodites 10 ml
Herc 30 ml
Zeus 5 ml
Oly Up
SLF-100 5 ml
PH 6.4
PPM 1630

The thing I stepped up today was and additional 5 ml of Medusa and Gaia. And over the last two days slowly add Mega in with today being the most Mega so far. Also upped the Herc by 10 ml two days ago. Any advice will be appreciated, thanks!

getting my sample kit soon
any recommendations? I use happy frog soil. Instead of buying a pH pen i was going to add a little extra lime in there anyone have any thoughts or advice?
I'm looking for peoples routines with the things that come in the free sample kit
such as 1/2 tsp per gal of this and that at earlier veg stage and so on?
