I no my pots and I never water to run off....unless I am flushing, I try to dial in my water so that only a couple drop come out the bottom of my pots on feed days this is what works for me.
I don't have a run off either... I get onto that in a min.... feed more less volume even feeding at 1/2 gallon every other day was pushing on the dry side , I could do half gallon a day but that mite push to getting wet feet . lets get back to run off , its not a bad thing to do but not really needed ... if you wanna see how good you are , when your feed ppm and your run off ppm are +/- 200 ppm you are spot on and keeping slurries in range ...even a flush once in awhile is good even if its a 5% runoff ...

Did you apply any epsom bubba? There is trace magnesium sulfate in Easy Tea bloom. And I feed just like you do but always run into a week or so where I have to feed daily, usually when they are bulking up!! Did you get any unoff from the 1 gallon feed? Or just a good satuation?

3 gals or 5 gallon pots bubba? If 3 gals and your sure the whole rootball is saturated now, feed daily at
1.25-1.5 qrtz.....if 5 gals, make sure rootball is evenly saturated then feed daily at 2.25-2.5 qrtz. This is where yucca is doing it's magic!!

Ok so it is the timing and trying to read and understand witch micros do what drives my lil pea birdbrain mad and just blows my high lol ...that's the ideal theory I do i the same thing I think we all do, root contact inoculation, then the diversity building inoculations then hit them with em1 and start again
It helps to know what each microbe species does or is good for but I was more trying to explain that microbial products are designed with different ratios that they have found to be the most efficient so when do a Nectar Tea and add photo+, SLF, mammoth, and Cultured those ratios are now all out of whack and I believe not nearly as beneficial. And liquid microbial products are alive and hit the feed water and soil and start eating immediately so the dry microbial products are just becoming food before they get a chance to wake up!! I recommend picking one of the microbial products plus an enzyme at least once a week. Pouring multiple products on too frequently doesn't allow any balance to occur.....IMO

you hit on something ... I said this before .. after talking with my hydro store guy , he even said a few years ago people didn't have the problems as the do now with all microbe stuff that came out that " plays well with nectar " ..maybe its the inexperience ? don't know...

Your golden then!! Small adjustments are the key......if the yellow margin signs stop then you know your on the right path. If you make too many adjustments you won't know what may be the cause. And your prolly right about the pot drying out too much, we know the ph climbs in a healthy soil, add all the Calcium we use and if we let it dry too far that drift climbs over 7.0 ph.......and MAG can't get up in that range. The plant can withstand the lower moisture and not droop like in drought conditions but it loses access to the micros.....my hypothesis anyway...LOL

I think this is definitely the issue. Take mammoth P, it is a killer product if big ag would use it as they pour metric tons of salt phosphorous yearly because it locks up or precipitated out....this is why he made it!! But he wouldn't see the sales he is seeing without cannabis. Either way it's designed to unlock P in ag soil, or for hydro guys....keep the P available for uptake longer. All the while our favorite plant relies on P from fungi. Remember when I mentioned the notill guys might only use 2/3 teas the whole cycle and some stop completely once in multiple cycles. It can throw off the balance of what the plant and soil created and cause all kinds of issues.

I think all the different microbe products are amazing but you said it, "INEXPERIENCE"!! I only started giving notice after I was applying them together and too frequently prolly, while not getting the plant response I should be getting. I backed off and started using them on there own and not near as much.....And plants have never been happier. My vege garden is gonna love it too b/c I have a shelf full of dry microbial products that I can't possibly use in time unless I want to keep fighting the balance, and not getting full potential.

Zero......I know why I keep not picking up Sea Green, I know you said you use it. It has Potassium Hydroxide. Its a lower concentration than some kelp based products but not good for organics. It can kill microbes instantly. You want to use kelp products that are cold pressed to extract the goods!! The hydroxide is a chemical digester, thats why they claim it works on salt buildup.

I agree and use all 3.....Rootwise is pricey but I'm liking it!! Buildabloom is just bad ass and Thrive N is who makes the Buildabloom....FIRE!! Awesome as a TEA food

I built a version 3 buildasoil mix, still in a couple 20 gallon totes. And a box full of BUILDASOIL products. My local shop started bringing some of their stuff in too. I was waiting to find the very best keeper to run it in.....the buildasoil no till bundle system. He has a great schedule and theres like 8 or 9 videos where he breaks soil mix and feed schedule down......it's fucking awesome!!

Is the 5.0 the latest version of the unofficial grower's Bible?

A lot of good info in here. I realize I haven't been using enough HH.

Another thing I keep reading is they say it's a no-no to mix the nutrients in your gallon of water before adding the water. Why is that? I've tried both methods and it seems to mix better if I add the nutrients before the water.
