What's the issue? Gnats I imagine, if so, You got any neem meal? You can sprinkle a light topdress, plus 2 tsp. BE-1(the pellets have chitin) and water it in with a Bokashi and Frass Tea-- this tea is super easy, no bag or bubbling.....just throw it in some molasses water and let sit overnight 12 hours, 24 hours is fine/better, but let the TEA you just applied do its thing for a few days.....a couple more feeds.....TopD & Grokashi/Frass Tea. SLF also can kill gnat larvae, maybe in the 30-45 ml per gallon range. This tea is also a good nutrient cycler, its like EM-1 on crystal meth!! And gnats won't have a chance, NEEM will work on breaking the life & feed cycle and the chitin may degrade them but I think its more complex, I think the microbes attracted by the chitin and the beneficial nematodes are responsible. All the while the plant is playing a roll too, activating its SAR's(SystemicAquiredResponses) that trigger oil & resin production!!! Win win win.....So do you really have an issue? mild pest pressure is a good thing believe it or not, just need to steer in a direction to our benefit. You definitely have the tools homey!!

thats the issue GNATS!!!!!not bad but bad enough.. top dress frass for now .... interesting read !!! im gonna try it .. thanks !!! im gonna work on my amended soil and add a few things to it !!! also im gonna order some colorado worm casting (make tea in flowering) .. ill respond more in a little after I read thru this....

sweet !!! .. I did tea on 2 of the girls just to see how the react , there reacting well , so im gonna do a tea on the other 2 , so now im thinking going 1 or 2 ways .. 1. brew worm casting with oly mountain or 2. I also got Malibu brew compost biodynamic compost tea bags ....with amended soil what I find out from the last run is I didn't need to use as much nutrients and my ph stayed stabile there where more times I did cultured tea in veg cause the ppms where between 450-600 range which that wasn't a real issue cause my ph was in range ..next run gonna be different with more detail with when and where and how I use the product ....I have great results !!! I just think it could be a lot better ... im already gonna take fullon out of every tea and use it at the end for "flush" for right now wanna learn about microbes and brewing ... gonna do a slurry later on , on the 2 that where tea brew feed ...

Yeah buddy, do the Oly/castings plus the Bu bags..I did that my last brew it got great results....you want diversity. And my numbers were very similar when figuring out how to apply more organics, its finding the "Happy Place" between NECTAR & organic amends!! The feeding schedules are based on #4 type soil mixes so the full strength Nectar is ideal, I too needed to back off some due to the other techniques I use. Don't get me wrong, I got amazing results....but constantly trying to better myself!! Trying new things is the only way to figure it out, and the learning Then how, why and when!!

ok did a slurry on the ones I did casting brew ... 1. ppm 120 / ph 7.1 , 2. ppm 260 / ph 7.0 ....the day of feed it was 1. ppm 340 / ph 6.6 , 2. ppm 270 / ph 6.8 .....one 1. soil dry she hungry so gonna feed at full strength on roman .. 2. soil is wet so im gonna see what the ppm /ph are at later on today ....also I did a top dress with frass , does frass play a role in slurries ph ?

Those are good numbers, definetily better on the low side, than the high. You got an active soil and a hungry plant. What stage in the grow? Frass is a fertilizer so as nutrients come available in the soil I'm sure they will show up in SLURRIES. If I'm not mistaken, the N in Frass is mainly INSOLUBLE so will feed soil over time, slow release. Its very gentle and hard to burn with.

She will gobble that up, you could prolly feed as low as 6.2 and ride that soil ph drift!! She will have a bigger window to access whatever she wants, and doesn't have to work hard to get em!!

I have tried just about everything under the sun, but never Sea Green. Let me know what you get from it. I pick it up every time I'm at the store but never pulled the trigger. So I'm very curious......

I have the whole line and I kind of do my own thing with it but my baseline is greek ..we need a feed schedule that has Topd AAct in place of feeds

i have a confession i do not do slurry test as much as i should, its to hard for me (emotionally)to dig in my roots like that i only use 2 gal smart pots trust me i no the power of doing them but after like week 2 of flower my roots are so dense it takes a couple of min to drain and its not the HH ..

I hear that, it would be nice to add to the next version of the The Un-Official Nectar Bible. I refer to it often, especially like the chart they put on the most recent version......the SLURRY chart recommendations, I think its the very last page, gotta scroll all the way down!!

what I found out is there no set rule on which regiment is used , depends on slurries and what stage in veg or flower your in plays how there fed .. nice to have all the tools just incase .. I must say nectar is labor intensive and seen a few people fail , which is sad cause once you know , you don't wanna change . Im so anal about it , even my RO water i won't use till its room temp , even I keep my eye on soil temps to ...
