Nice Bubba, I want to get some of the merch, but every time I order I think of what nutes I can get, hopefully in the new year I will add somethings on to suffice the shipping. One more good order and I will have a surplus of the line, and will just need to add things (Herc mainly) here and there. I haven't even used BK yet as I am new to it all.

Plus The Beard is from Michigan, how can I not support my own. On one of that last Q&A's at the end someone asked about his ties to the Mitten state, that was me.

Gaia drops ph in my water the best, so does Aphrodites. My water changes throughout the different seasons too. I avoid kelp extracts with nectar, majority of them are potassium hydroxide extracted and don't play well with calcium.
I agree with the added potassium part of it, Do not ever add Potassium Silicate when using Nectar, it will burn your leaves right off if too much is used

I havent posted in awhile but damn why people quitting on nectar? This shit is the truth! Just gotta figure out the gaps your missing. I find in veg you cant lay off them for even 1 day! As soon as there hungry you have to be there or else it will start slipping and they wont look happy. i let my plants over dry a couple times and they did not like it at all!! Super ugly lol. Also if your noticing deficiencies or unhappy plants its most likely was a problem a week or so ago you may have already fixed the problem. Nothing a slurry cant fix! Im wit nectar for life i love this shit. My first run i had insane amounts of problems and still had absolute fire!! This run im still running into problems. I have fought vpd numbers because of winter so i dediced to go with a sealed room and supplement co2. That was a learning curve cuz now the plants want the whole kitchen sink because of the prime environment numbers. Alot of times people are blaming nutirents when in personal experience genetics and environment are the most important factors then comes nutrients. Anyway, Im feedingvery heavy and they are loving it!!! Im 1week into flower. Going to start hitting hard with herc and bloom khaos at end of week 3. Heres a couple pics of my plants right now that i just flipped. They are praying hard loving the co2 and warm humid temps. also added a couple of my nugs from last harvest. Dont give up on nectar its worth evey second and penny its not for lazy folks who want the easy way out. Just gotta learn to love the grind!!043F7A4A-6F77-4F99-AED6-B2504C5F7B98.jpegA29B5E5E-A768-4580-BB96-31C7B73F4CC9.jpeg21F9D448-DC54-4F24-8AF8-2190E0034D37.jpegCFFA90E9-A59A-4E76-9915-D47DC527249E.jpeg705D97E9-F9D0-4278-8B84-F8198E0CE0D8.jpegCDE39AAD-6F20-4337-B8C6-9F3FDDC36A72.jpegAADEC10B-0F6A-474B-B06A-EB0CBB1B8117.jpegF5DB5721-2336-4462-B098-40109E0D7388.jpeg7A191FD5-B81F-4746-92E7-315C46B5F935.png

Awesome looking bud there Loop. I was going to switch due to the future cost of my next run, but the other day looking at the plants, I couldn't give it up and ordered more. Hell the other day my girlfriend went out of town shopping and was going to be driving right by the shop I get #4, so I asked her to stop and score me more bags, plus saved a 120 mile round trip.

Worth every penny brotha!!! I ran 13 plants last time I have 15 this time. Prolly cost me around 800 in nutes initially i bought 1 gallon of everything and ive re upped once for around 500 which was 2.5 gals of medusa, gaia, herc and demeters, 1 gallon bottles of athenas and olympus. Ill need a bottle of tritons and AE then ill have enough to do 2 more runs i think. If you can afford it then run with it man nothing else has that smooth soft easy terped out smoke. I get massive hits off a joint and dont even cough. White ash and taste to the end of the L.

After this last order I just placed I have almost the complete line, still got to add a couple bottles. But the main stuff I also got gallons to back them up. One more good order and I should have the complete line with back up gallons.

I am expanding my little operation, I plan on 9 in flower and 9 in veg constantly. Yes I plan to reuse the soil as I go, just wanted to stock up as with the New Year I will be ramping things up and don't want to short myself. I ran out of space for the extra soil bags, have 3 stashed in the shower of a bathroom we really don't use LOL.

most definitely recycle, it only gets better. Plus the recycle recipe I'm using now requires NO BOTTLES till week 2/3ish of bloom!! they just get cultured teas & aminos and foliars in veg & transition. I just slurried for the first time at start of week 3 flower to see where im safe to start bottle feed strength at. I'm really digging this method and will prolly make it my go to!! Cause like Loop mentioned, once they get the bottle taste, they demand it!!

Irie, I take it you are speaking of the fix you spoke of some time ago? I could have missed it but did you ever share the mix? If not would you mind? I am also thinking on the next run doing a few plants with fresh #4, One Shot, and water, any of you ever do that? I know it probably won't compare to the bottle feeds but what to see what happens.

18 7gallon pot 5'×9' +5000umol

Syntetic megacrop with there sweet and some koolbloom...
25$can of nute 3 months clone to harvest

Organic heavy amendment soil and top dress
Gaia green 150 $can 3 month

Men thanx for ur honesty pretty expensif
I think that why people try different method
If i really want to use nftg ill use it as additif in a true organic living soil dont u guys think that the best way u should try side by side same strain same light even if just the water only method with some top dress is all they really need.

I may have posted it, I definitely DM'd it to few heads.....but I will share it. I have a wedding reception party to go to this evening so I will post the recipe tomorrow when I got some time to put it down. Will post some extras and alternates too. There is a few necessary ingredients for a basic recycle mix, but you can give the mix some extras to give it the power needed to get through to bloom with no bottles, just water & teas.

This plant we all love so much can be knocked out the park with any nutrient line, They all have pros and cons!! $500 in NFTG nutrients sounds expensive but its going to produce a very nice product, and a whole lot of it!! Of which is easily recouped after harvest. IMO Nectar is only expensive when purchasing the little quart bottles. When you buy gallons, 2.5 gallons, 5 gals and up, the cost goes way down. I just love the taste of nectar grown flowers so I will always have pots for nectar runs, but I like trying other ways and styles too so constantly experimenting. And yes, for side by side comparisons you want to use the same cloned cuts under the same light and in the same environment to get a good comparison.

So the run I have going right now, I ammended fresh #4 and planted with no cook time. I took roughly 4 week old clones from 1/2 gallon nursery pots and transplanted up to 3 gallon fabrics with this ammended mix and it got me through to week 3 bloom just using EZ TEAS, plain ph water and foliars. Dr. Growth(trigger) is also very important IMO when going this route in order to see growth rates similar to a full bottle regiment. I usually don't use 3 gals But I'm cycling out old genetics to make room for new seed hunts, 5 gal is usually my minimum. 7, 10, or 15 gals are ideal and will have much more power and longevity. .....the plants will show when they are ready to start taking the bottle, and to make a smooth transition I started adding some bottles to the EZ teas.....peg, krak, perseph, Herc........So the following post I will list the fresh ammended mix that's in use now, and then I will follow that post with a recycle recipe that will be similar but a little stronger since it's stripped from the previous grow and not being direct planted, requiring at cook time.

Ammended fresh #4 recipe -- can be planted into right away
- per 1.5 cu ft bag of Nectar #4 soil; or #8 soil
ADD:
- 1 Cup One Shot
- 6 Cups high quality worm castings (or compost like Bu's)
- 2/3 Cup Crab Meal
- 2/3 Cup Kelp Meal
- 1/3 Cup of activated Biochar
- 1/3 Cup Bokashi

**mix well and transplant, water in w/ a tsp Dr. Growth & Tbs of Dr. Root
***I also mulch all my pots barley straw

Extras -- can safely add these to this mix but not required

- 1/4 Cup insect frass (adds diversity and chitin solubolizing microbes)
- 1 Cup oyster shell flour (combats low ph drift)
- 1 Cup gypsum (calcium & sulphur/mitigates salt build up)
- 1/8 Cup alfalfa meal (plant tonic/hormones -- just a sprinkle, it can heat up soil if over applied)
- 1/8 Cup neem meal or karanja (pest deterent and soil conditioner)

The recycled mix I have cooking now is built like a living soil and I plan to run it the same, teas/plain water/foliars and transition to bottles in bloom. I don't like the term super soil, since that method loads a hot layer of soil in the bottom of the pot, with a light potting mix on top. I like a single homogenous mix. I have 100+ gallons cooking, majority of the totes have 15 gallons of used soil so I will list this recipe per 2 cu ft. Of used #4.

Recycle mix -- 15 gal used #4 -- ** = main ingredients

- 10 - 12 Cup high quality worm castings (or compost)**
- 2 Cup One shot **
- 1/2 Cup Crab Meal**
- 1/2 Cup Kelp Meal**
- 1/4 Cup neem meal
- 1/4 alfalfa meal**
- 1/2 Cup frass
- 1 Cup biochar -- activated or Raw**
- 1 Cup bokashi**
- 1 Cup crushed malted barley
- 1 Cup oyster shell flour**
- 1 Cup gypsum -- flour or pellets
- 2 Cups rock dust -- example: azomite, basalt, glacial, granite, etc**
- 1/8 Cup soft rock phosphate

--thoroughly mix all the above dry ingredients up in a 18 gallon tote
-- then apply a 1-2" layer of fresh peat, or coco, or fresh #4 and thoroughly mix; this can be added with all the other ingredients but making it a 2 step mixing process ensures that all the ingredients get THOROUGHLY mixed, creating a homogenous soil mix!!
-- then pour 1.5 gallons of 6.5 ph water with 30 ml Hygeia, 30 ml Ful-power if on hand, 15 ml SLF, 30 ML EM1 if on hand. (i like to add a little Dr. Growth too to kickstart, but not necessary.....or aloe is good too)
-- thoroughly mix again until moisture level is consistent -- squeezing the soil in your fist should barely form a drop of water, the soil should hold together when squeezed but easily crumble with a touch!!
-- Almost done, after mixed and at correct moisture, let the mix settle on its own--don't press it down. Gently smooth the surface level and press knuckle deep dimples all over the entire surface with your finger tips.....this is a trick to create more surface area across the top for the next step.
- Sprinkle up to 2 Tbs bokashi across the entire surface and gently wet with a spray bottle, spray the lid bottom too. Cover and place somewhere at room temps.....dark closets are best.
- Let the cooking begin--within 24-48 hours the fuzz should start taking over, depending how many of the above ingredients you use, the mix will heat up(mine are 7 days old and holding at 85-90 degrees). Then start cooling down, usually levels off to room temps after 2 weeks.
-- After 2 weeks, go in and thoroughly mix the soil again. It may still be warm in the center but that's OK, the mixing will slow it down. Do the dimple trick, sprinkle 2 Tbs bokashi, spray wet, cover, and back to cook for at least 30 - 45 days -- the longer the better!!
-- Once 60 days has passed it is ready to be used, I recommend 5 gallon minimum with 10 or 15 gal being the best......bigger the better!!
-- Once ready to transplant, up pot, add 1 Cup of oneshot to the tub and thoroughly mix it into the soil. This will kick start the soil for planting and keep the microbes fed.
-- I also liked to spread a thin layer of castings across the soil surface after transplant, then I cover with a thick layer of barley straw mulch.
-- water in with a tsp Dr. Growth and a Tbs Dr. Root

These recipes can tweaked in many ways, the key to dialing them in is reading your plants and taking notes. This could knock it out the park on the first try with most genetics, some it could fall short and others be too hot. I believe it's a good baseline to at least start learning more about building soils and learning plant responses for Everyones different environment. I also think this mix can be taken full cycle with no bottles, but will need different topdresses and other living soil tricks in order to compare to a full bottle run that most are used to. I encourage everyone to recycle your soils and find what works for them!!

Thats not too shabby........what kinda light you keep over them?
T5 over all my veg. Including mothers. I have 3 moms they give 12-14 solid clones every 3-4 weeks id say. Hoping to add a couple more strains to the table. Im hunting bad betty by exotic genetix, riot seeds legend of the sour and cannarado sunday dough. Be nice to find another keeper or 2 out of those. I also have a fire strawberries and cream cut ima turn to a mother that i got from my boy. I love variety!
