Newbie with new nutes

Hi all, just went to a local hydro store and picked up some stuff because I wasn't happy with the progress of my plants.
FoxFarm Ocean soil
Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Gro
Botanicare Cal-Mag
Botanicare Liquid Karma
Botanicare Sweet
Superthrive
Super Plant Tonic - (ebay)

All of the Botanicare products say to use 2 tsp per gallon of water. They guy said to use just 1 tsp, and I could use all of them at the same time throughout vegetation. I also put in just 1/4 tsp of the Superthrive. I water a little each day in the original soil, I'm saving the FoxFarm for the next grow. I have not received the Super Plant Tonic yet. Does this sound ok? Any help is MUCH appreciated.

you really need a ppm meter.. I did the eyeball thing for a while and when I got my ppm meter I was still burning 'em thru the roof on half nutes. You really need to get a ppm meter. Hanna all in ones are easy to use.

Xpnsivwino.... Yes, it does. The key is to go low, slow & steady. Plus do not water daily - it will stunt root growth.
.
Roots only grow outward & downward looking for water & nutes. If they are supplied too often, the roots don't go far. Smaller rootballs, equal smaller plants - with reduced yields.
.
It's better to water less often, like once a week or once every five days.
.
I water once a week, then the following week I fertilize - I just do this in constant rotation. This encourages Mary to spread out her roots, plus prevents the two biggest mistakes made by growers - Overwatering & Overfeeding.....
.
Hope this helps....
