Newbie who's... never smoked??

That's right, kids. I'm new to this board, and I'm new to smoking. 28 years old, never smoked, and I don't even drink. But it's something I'm getting more into, and I do want to start smoking a bit. But therein lies the problem, children. I know nothing about it. I don't know terminology, what to look for, what to avoid, what the difference is between smoking implements... shit, I don't know the difference between a blunt and a joint, and only recently found out they were two different things. So hello to you all, and thanks in advance for your patience with dealing with a weedtard.

Welcome to RIU.. Everyone has to start somewhere.. Smoking weed is way better then drinkin alcohol in my opinion..

That was a joke ^ but just read up alot and you will quickly learrn and i hope you do..
I just read that u might have children? so i really dont see why you would smoke, why bring somthing like marijuana into your household if you have never tried it. No point on starting now espesially becasue your children might learn about it with you

I suggest you start from scratch. Go buy an ounce, and smoke it Try to smoke like 1g a day and in 24 days you will be the average 16 year old - pot wise. Then from there on your going to need to get some growing experience, before you smoke your ounce look for bagseed, if you find some grow it! If not buy some seeds online, grow it, take clones, smoke it, use the clones for another grow and repeat! Start with CFLS and soil on your first grow its easier, unless you grow outdoors. Have fun! I was referring to the forum members. I call everyone kids or children, even when they are much older than me. I don't have children. But if I did, I'd smoke and they'd like it. If they made a peep, I'd make them clean out their cages.

No idea what clones are or what CFLS is. Again, starting from nothin', lol. I'm reading up on it, though. Sorry, and thanks. And, as I understand it, the soil makes a big difference in the plants themselves, and the soil here in NJ is really sandy. (Even tomatoes taste completely different from ones grown in, say, Ohio.) Am I correct? And if so, would that be a good thing, or a bad thing?

CFLs are compact flourescent light bulbs (Those curly lightbulbs ) Clones are plants, basicly they are a plant that you cut off of a bigger plant, know what I mean? You take a big plant and cut it up so you have a bunch of little ones. It would probably be a good idea to just buy soil its most always better quality.

i would start smoking before i start growing.

i would go buy a glass bowl or small bong or bubbler as a first piece unless you can roll a joint.

avoid bad weed if at all possible... just dont buy mexican weed, get some home grown.

as for kids, i dont know how old they are but smoke ofter there asleep, at school or any time where you got a couple of hours.

my first time smoking weed was one of the strongest experiences i have had on any drug. and ive done just about all of em (cept crack meth or heroine, would never touch those three) so be ready lol.

have someone that's an experienced smoke be with you if possible.

I am sorry but I think you are talking total sheit. You say you know nothing about nothing but yet you find your way to this forum.

Think what you want, man. I stumbled on this place while trying to buy a bowl as a birthday gift for a friend that smokes weed. Other than knowing what weed is, what it does, and the minimal stuff my friends have told me, I really don't know anything about it and I'm trying to find out. I have nothing to hide.
