oh the one in the big pot is white rino I think and I thought the other one was too but the leaves look fatter then the other one so I don't remember what strain it is, the light that we use is 24 watts, 2000 initial lumens, 6400k- full daylight spectrum t-5 tube rated, there are two other lights that I am not sure about the specks on those but when i have just one on it raises the temp to 90 I think that is too high? the one in the big pot got its first dose of ferts yesterday the ferts were using is earth juice. Does anyone out their use tap water? just wandering. like i said before any help would be great.

Setup looks nice.
Be careful with fert when they're that young.
It could use more light, when i grew 2 plants i had 3x26W for vegetative and it was good.
the spectrum of those other light should be mentioned on them or just google their product code and find out more.

the one in the bigger pot is just miracle grow i see that a lot of people on here say not to use miracle grow so I will get better soil. the smaller plant is seedling soil i forgot the name. don't the blue spec lights make the plants male?

the blue spectrum of the lights is of more benefit to the plant while it is in a vegative state, while the red spectrum is of benefit when the plant is in flower.

you may want to lift the seedling tray up abit, just put it on a cardboard box or something, about an inch away will do, and you wil notice a big difference. and you dont want to stretch it or it will just snap under its own weight.

in any soil u use be sure to read how long the soil will feed your plants!!!!! i only say this because if you dont and you just starting dumping ferts on your plants you will kill your plants for sure. believe me i know this from experience. as far as i know most mg soils will feed for at least 30-60 days or longer.. ill tell you why most people dont use mg for our thing, its because for one they have the wrong ratio of nutes and two its almost impossible to control the needs of your plants with a soil that feeds plants for up to 3 or 6 months! if you insist on using mg use the organic. i know how quality soil can be expensive and thats why i created my own mix. if interested just let me know i can post it just send me an IM. ill tell you its inexpensive to make, %100 organic, and definitely quality. everything looks good so far but if you want some big quality buds you need some better lights and a way to concentrate it on to your plants. im thinking a grow tent would be good if your limited on space and want something easy to construct. if your handy you can probably build something much cheaper. a hps would also be ideal for flowering and you can just buy a metal hilade interchangeable bulb so it will work in the same ballast so you can just buy one fixture for veg and flower. your heat build up is because you need ventilation so if you get an aircooled hood with an hps like i said you will eliminate heat build up. about the tap water you can use it but you should let it set out without a lid for at least 24 hrs or more to let the chlorine burn off otherwise the chlorine will kill the microbes in your earth juice maiking it pretty much useless. the soil mix i use feeds plants for 30 days or so and then i would switch to a complete fertilizer like the ej you have to finish the life cycle of the plant no problems. good luck to you sweet keep us posted.

i have used the lights i use for my reptiles, but only the tubes, they work fine, but you have to get them really close to the plants.
