Hey this might be super easy to answer inside my growbox its usually between 75 and 80 degrees. but in my soil i JUST put into the pot it at a flat 90 degrees. the soil bag WAS sitting out in the sun for a few hours today. could that be the reason my soil is so hot? should i just let it cooldown for a bit then recheck temps?

yea recheck the temps but i hope for you that it was only the sun screwin with your temps. If your dont actually have plants yet than make sure you run your setup for a week or so and just make sure everythings consistant. Heres a good example, When i started my current grow i used homemade fixtures from pvc. On top of the pvc frames which held the lights were 2 strips of plastic held to the pvc with hot glue. (see pic) well when i turned the lights on the temp went up and the hot glue gave up, dropping all of the lights. None fell on plants but it could have been disastrous if they did.

OK thanks. ill keep the fans on and lights on then probably run and get some food and check again when i get back. thanks for the input =D
