Newbie seeks soil and nutrient advise, Have i got this right?

Hi there to everyone at thc farmer, Im a first timer and i just wanted to know if im on the right track with my first grow.
Ive recently germinated some seeds and i have planted them in a pots containing
1/4 perlite
1/4 vermiculite
1/4 peat moss
1/4 premium potting mix

1.Is this soil medium seem ok

2.Ive started feeding them canna veg A & B nutrients 1/3 strenght, but do i have to add anything else to the water apart from ph stuff. ( I know that the nutrients are for hydro but i was told they can be used for soil as well.
P.S the plants are 3 weeks old, under a 600w hps light.

Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks
 
Sounds like your on the right track, you may wanna find something with micro nutrients at some point, greensand is an amazing product for this. I dont know about the nutients you are using so I cant help there , ive never grown hydro yet. But your mix looks pretty good.
 
yea that would be a good base soil but if you want it to be a bit better add bonemeal blood meal and some kind of kelp extract
