newbie question

okay. right now i have two small plants (one poped up this morning out of surprise) one is about 1 1/2cm and the other is about 4 mil. just for now, am i able to use a 23w bulb? its one of those cool spiral lookin ones that can burn for like a year or something. i tested it and it dosent get hot. it is pretty bright as well.

How long did it take your plants to break the surface from seeds?

no i have my own house, there out in the open, but i got them covered in box's with foil? dont laugh! newbie move? oh and i get paid in like a week so i can re-up on diffrent lights.

like 3 days since planting till seedling. i didnt germinate in paper towel but i have 4 more that are germinating that way.

blacklights won't work for shit, don't use blacklights!

no black lights, for now, just put them outside in 16 oz cups, use the sun, while you doing that save up some money and buy an hid light, like a security light, try to find one 250watt, also see if you can use it with both MH and HPS bulbs, look up lighting at grow faq

okay i feel the best for me is a compact flouresent 200-250 watt, are they cheap and easy to find? im thinking a lowes or home depot.

don't use foil to. it creates hotspots and reflects light at poorus angles!

hmmm wow you guys are really cool. most of the time you get some jackass who laughs at you becasue of your knowledge on something. you guys just find all the quirks and fix them, without the least hint of sarcastics or plain evilness. cool stuff. good job rollitup!
