Thanks for all of the help! I got a moisture meter from a local Bigbox store AND I've started "hefting" them so that I can water them more accurately. I was definitely watering them too much at first!

Okay, I have a crappy camera (I'm getting a better one soon, but hopefully I'll only need it for awesome pictures, not yucky bug ones), and these little dudes are TINY!
I managed to snag a single decent shot of what is infesting my pots! Again, they're very small round/oval white bugs and they move kind of quickly. They almost look like tiny ticks, but they aren't on the plants from what I can tell. They're everywhere else though and I can't imagine that they're GOOD!
I know it's not a good photo, by any means, but he's the little white blob chilling on the pot. lol

Can't really tell from that pic, lol. You say you don't see them on your plant, but have you checked the undersides of the leaves?

i would spray the bugs with neem oil, and if you can, catch lady buggs, theyre excellent for your plants.
also, i would only water them about twice a week, i had a five gallon bucket which contained 11 plants, i had to feed them like 4 times a week which wasnt good in my opinion, but over feeding them does really critical damage. it causes the plants to actually stunt their growth.
get a small fan, one blowing across the plants, and maybe one blowing inward, or outward.
this is for good air circulation, and makes your plants develope thicker stems.

Yeah, I've checked everywhere on the plants: where the stem meets the branches, under the leaves, on top of the leaves, and I even uprooted the plant that was toppled over and there weren't any near the roots! I still have no idea what they are, but I'm getting new lights soon and I plan to start over.

Okay~! Thank you SO much to everyone who replied and helped me out. I've scrapped this grow and chalked it up to learning and will start over with some new lights, less watering, and NO nutes until at least four or five weeks in.Yeah, I've checked everywhere on the plants: where the stem meets the branches, under the leaves, on top of the leaves, and I even uprooted the plant that was toppled over and there weren't any near the roots! i had bugs in a peat mix i bought once, they were like little white spiders, they lived in the soil and never did any harm to the plant, i did however.
germinate your seeds, put them in a decent medium then leave them under a decent light, job done. let them grow nice for a couple of weeks then transplant, leave them some more, bout week or 2. At that point you will probibly realise that all the crap you gave them first time round, sprays, mg soil etc did nothing but contribute to the death of your plants, you will then worry about giving them anything because you wont want to ruin them with nutes etc. least thats what i did.
Good luck, and if you dont get rid of the bugs, get some flea killer or a bug bomb before you start and blast the whole area and let it air off for a few days, it kills everyting. (sorry organic growers)

Thank you so much! After all of the research and combing the internet that I did I have come to the conclusion that while creepy, the bugs aren't really harming the plants. It's probably just tiny white spiders like you said and they're eating my nummy nummy FFOF soil (since it's chock full o'organic matter).
You are so right! I played the "over concerned parent" bit and came down too hard on my girls!
I think I will get a bug bomb since my op is in the garage (which is prone to Cave [Spider] Crickets and arachnids of all kids anyways) before attempting my next grow and the whole shebang is going to get an extra-thorough cleaning!

as for the bugs... diatomacious earth mixed in with the soil or thin level on top will kill any inscent and wont harm the plants.. it is basicly crushed shells that litter rip open the exoskeleton of any insect... look it up...or the other solution is go hydro... sage is a difficult first strand to grow... it was difficult for me and funny enough it was my first grow...

Thanks for the reply! Haha, perhaps "sage" isn't the word I should have used. I was merely attempting a bagseed grow and by sage I had meant wise and learned advice.
My local Hydro shop told me the same thing (both about the diatomacious earth and switching to hydro) and I plan to try a hydro grow eventually, but until I stop killing all of my plants, lol, I'm going to stick with soil!
