newbie need help please.

ha to all . here it goes. my room now looks like this 2 adjustable MH 400w hangingn over 10 plants. 1 sunlight(orangish lights) 6 (120w) flourcent bulb hanging about 4" of the pots. i went to direct seed in soil (all female seeds) they are (afhgan#1/ northenlights, and skunk#1. i planted them 10 days ago under 18H of lights on. temp around 82F. so far just 2 sprouted nice theick half green half white. i noticed the 2 were Afghan out of 3 Afghan i planted. im welling to use the flourecent later for clonning and have the orang light off till the pr-flowering stage. also the grow area are srrounded by white reflective sheet. A/C is on while the lights are on, a fan is on 24/7. the seeds looks larger and some are dark brown, some are brown with stripes, looks like hard shelf to me? i tryed 1 seed on the moist paper towl and it cracking slowly (6th day). sorry for the long message. im new, and seems like i have all the things needed, need some tips and how to use my lights and A/C, watring. thanks to all. peace. loveya all

I can't imagine your germination rate being 100%. I germinated 80 seeds 100% successfully using the papertowels method. Well we actually used layers and layers of toilet paper.

Just get a nice thick bed of the stuff and wet it. Place the seeds on top and then put another few layers of tissue over the top. Wet this too. Use a fine spray to do the wetting. Put the bowl, dish, plate whatever in a dark room and check on them periodically, spraying them again if required. Ours started sprouting in 3 days and by the 7th every one had germinated.
