Newbie keen for some advice

Newbie keen for some advice im growing WW in rockwool in a propagation tent under T5 lighting 24w I've got them 6.5 inches from the light should they be closer or further away they are 8 days old .cheers

pics would be helpful in determining if lights are too close or not, i want to say 6.5" with t5's is fine but without knowing more variables i cant say that for sure..

Heres some photos hope it will help also what do you think of the plants they are 8 days old also ive got a couple of yellow spots on the edge of one of my plants.

Looks fine to me!

Florescent lights can be placed nice and close, but I wouldn't put such small seedlings any closer to my lights.

Thanks also my leaves are looking a bit try today i turned the fan on last night do u think that may have caused it.

I avoid using a fan until my plants are like 10" tall.

Have tried it with constant air, indirect w box fans etc, and for me, I see faster growth with less fan in early veg.

Too much air flow can dry tips and stress plants. I have seen wind stress a few times so I'm more careful now.
