Hi, I am setting up my grow closet and this my first time growing im just using seeds I have found in a bag of medical from my dispensery and and I decided to try it out I have my closet lined it reflective material and im just using normal cfl lights (X2) and my 2 plants and it gets to about 88F-89F and I was wondering if anyone knew any super cheap ways to cool it down in there!

P.S. I was just thinking I could put jugs of frozen water on the floor in there. Is that a bad idea will it harm mty plant cause of the humidity?

air flow man. I don't know yr setup so I cant really help much, maybe some pics would be helpful. but I am using a grow cab, and I hear ya, I battled the heat for quite awhile, hovering right around the same temps as you are in now...I know cab and closet are different, but what you got to do is get the most amount of fresh air into your space. I use little computer fans. and I also do use froze 2 liter bottles, and put them right in front of the fan, that is how I get thru any hot days. one more thing, I switched up from cfl's to led "cree" style bulbs....they are about 30% cooler. it sounds like you are needing more light, and that would just make it hotter right? if you have the extra $ id get those leds. they have made my battle half the job it was. trust that. anyway, good luck, and I wil help ya anyway I can. I hate scrooling thru this forum and seeing unanswered simple questions. everyone forgot how it was to be a beginner I guess. you will figure I t out. later
