Hi Guys
Wondering if anyone can advise me on whats causing the dying leaves.

As you can hopefully see in the terrible photos, there are leaves curling up, crispy, brown dead areas on them.
They are the leaves which I think are supporting/feeding the new growth just above them, same node.

The lights are 600w mixed spectrum HID's (18/6), last feed was on 2/8/13 with 30% canna coco a+b with H&G roots excelurater.

I did notice that there was some clumping in the feed even though I mixed as per instructions. (first 70ml A and stir, then 70ml B and stir and finally 30ml H&G )

Don't know the temp, but forgot to measure the Ph before watering.
Measured the runoff at between 7 and 8Ph :(

Can anyone tell me what they would do and how much the problem is likely to affect the final result?
Room temp min 19.6c- 30.0c max over last 2 days

at first glance, it appears the large pots are "wicking" water from the newly transplanted..IMO

EDIT: to fix..keep new transplants root ball and "seam" moist until new roots establish into pot

Thanks for the reply Schuylaar

I did water them in with approx 2 litres of solution. The new growth looks fine but the older leaves in the middle of the plant seem most affected.
I have tried the problem sticky at the start of this forum but can't see the pics.

nxt time start with cfl or t5 that light is intense and its just something else the mj has to adjust. big roots use t5 hps once big enough will keep those roots growing sweet set up tho

They've been under a 125w CFL for the last 2 weeks and they weren't doing much and going dark green so I thought the brighter lights would cheer them up.
Cheers for the info mr.maryj
