newbie help on set up?

ok so i am in the proess of getting my medicinal licence.

I'm allowed 5 indoor plants.

i just picked up a 400 Watts HPS. and got a full basement for room.

I live in canada and the basement is cooler.

i have 8 foot ceilings.

my plan was to have 1 mother, 2 clones flowering an 2 clones vegging all in stages.

my plan was fluorance 4 foot tubes for the mother in soil, when i get cutings gone put them in DWC bubbler for a bit in the mother room, till they start to go, and then transfer them into the flower room with the hps for a few weeks under 18/6 and then when they are ready scrog them 12/12 in the flower room under the hps. kinda a perpertual grow type, the clones in the mother room will have CFL's on them.

does this sound decent?

anyone have any idea on the times i should have them in each cycle.

and what do i do with the mother plant so she don;t overgrow her space?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds all good chap. I dont get why people use 400w when 600w is not much more heat or cost but creates much bigger frosty buds.

With the mother, if it gets too big just tie it down to itself, as long as you got a low wattage it will grow nice n' slow anyway so you mite be cool just letting it go wild how she wants.

well my 400 watter was only $40, i couldn;t pass it up. lol hence why i going 400.

any idea on the times? how long should i be able to flower them? and how long should have the clones in the mother room before they are ready for the hps?

I'm trying to plan it so that as soon as i harvest....i wana be ready to move the clones into flower room on 18/6....
