This is my first grow I was gifted a few plants there I’m my tent under 600w hps about 16-20inch away from plants I recently found out they had what I think is thrips I’m just wondering if anyone knows if this is damage from the bugs of something else

I did use neem on one of my plants the other day but it was too strong and burnt it I was thinking of getting spinosad and ladybugs haha and could the browning tips be low humidity mines usually around 40-50 percent

I would say some kind of bug and possibly nute burn? If not nute burn (not sure cos you haven't told us anything about your nutes etc) then id go with a deficiency

did you apply the neem closer to your lights off/sun down?

I just recently had a problem with thrips. I used neem oil and it got rid of most of them so I will be doing it again in a few days but it does work. Just don’t put under the grow lights after doing it it will burn your leaves.

I did give nutes About a week ago 1ml biobizz grow and root booster per litre but I was told that may be abit much early on so they have only had the root booster the last 2 feeds I’m not sure what soil he has them in so it could be a hot mix

I think I used about 15ml in 500ml of water first time and it fried my leaves so I tried again at 2ml in 500ml and that didn’t seem to effect them I was going to slowly work my way up but wasn’t sure how effective neem was

I wonder if the nutes is the problem and not the neem

I thought it may be but for the last week they have only had 1ml of biobizz root booster per 1liter of water about a quarter the recommended dose so I thought that would be okay but I don’t know what the soil is like maybe that’s abit strong

I’m not sure the lad just said it’s tomato soil Ano that’s not a lot of help
you have to remember if these soil companies could sell you one soil that would be perfect the entire grow, they’d be out of business for their entire nutrient line.

for the most part, any tomato soil is going to be able to flower marijuana. It’s just about getting more Oz now.

I hope someone with better experience using supplements can come along and help you. Cause I say no nutes until youcan identify WHY you’re adding those nutes. I.e. Mobility of nutrients

Yeh I get what your saying mate think I’m getting myself confused too much I also have a bcn critical xxl auto in the same tent but that’s about 15 days old in bio bizz light mix So iv been giving them all the same thing instead of treating them differently I think my auto needs more nutes with it being in the light mix
