This is my first hydro grow and I am using ebb with12 pot system. I started out with 6 auto ak47 and they just started to flower a few days ago. First question I have is my roots on one plant have come all the way through the bottom of the inner bucket about 6 inches. Even if I did the PVC mod they would sit in the water. I am not sure what to do about the roots, although right now they look white and healthy. Second question is mixing nutes, I am using Lucas formula and I mix the correct Mount for the 40 gallon I am using in Rez in 1 gallon jug. I then pour from gallon jug to Rez. The nutes seem to be crystalizing at the bottom and I am not sure if that is a problem. If it is how should I add nutes to Rez. Any help will be appreciated.

ru shaking the shit out of the nutes before u use them? Especially the micro....
RU mixing the nutes by the gallon, than pouring? I dont get what u mean. U can fill water to 40 gal point marked on barrel to 40 gal than TDS read and add 2:1 Bloom /micro as needed

I have the same system and the roots have always done just fine in the water that sits at the bottom of the buckets... I check them from time to time and make sure that they are white and if they are then they are fine... Not so sure about your nutrients crystalizing tho... One thing I would say that might save you some trouble in the future tho is that you should move your res out of the room if you can... When I had mine in the room with the plants and the lights it raised the temp of my res and I had some problems with root rot....
