:leaf:Hey Guys I decided to start a journal hopefully some of you will help me through my first grow! At first I bought a aerogarden but then I realised how limited the aerogarden is so I took it back and built a DIY system. It turned out awesome! I am going to use foxfarm nutes once the plants are 10 days old. I just put the sprouts in yesterday and can already notice a difference in Size! I used Just reggie badseeds and that is the only corner that I cut. I ordered a 400w Hps/mh light which will be here next week but for now im using a 300 watt cft bulb which has performed well so far! Im growing in my closet and made a custom reflector from mylar and a old cardboard box. I will put pics up every couple of days for updates Thanks for subsribing guys:leaf:

heres the pics what do you guys think of my first setup

Sounds like you got it all down, you gonna be amazed in that HPS light, i got a AG but it was free, so i hope to upgrade after i get my feet wet a lil with Hydroponics, i was lookin into this DWC or Bubbleponics, good luck man, i'll be here learning along with you hahah bongsmilie

I saw a commerical for the aerogarden and it was like my eyes were finaly opened! I didnt have to pay 80 an eighth for shit that sometimes wasnt even dro anymore! I looked up the penaltys for growing in my state and for as much as im growing the penalty would be the same as posession except i dont have to deal with shady characters! Its so easy to build your own aeroponics system I will take a picture of my setup underneath the cap tommorow Sicc you can do it in like 3 hours while watching football. Then you will have tons more room for your roots and im sure that should really help our yeilds at least I hope it does! Do you have a journal Sicc?

The first pics i took were from last night and these are from 5 minutes ago dang thats a alot of growth

you were thinkin from movin to AG to DWC??? i just moved from DWC to AG. what kinda setup do you have ? bubbleponics is great thats what my first grow was.

Well i was lookin into Bubbleponics first after a soil grow i did with a friend, thats how i found the AG, didnt think much except it is more convenient but i wasnt goint to pay 200, then another friend got ahold of the AG and gave it to me so i decided to give it try, its a great learning tool so far, check my thread in my signature, and how i found out DWC is the same thing as the AG but you can have a way bigger rez

ooowww u had one of those AG u see on tv?because i think AG is a better way f growing. well more plants for the space.im not talkin bout the one on tv tho. i used a 10 gallon res for 2 bushy plants in DWC bubbleponic.now i have a 16 gallon res that controls 14 plants.

Yea it was because i saw a thead, lol iv actually never seen the TV commercial, i got the 7 pod one, it only has a gallon or so rez ;) it has alot of convenience, basically set and forget, thats what drew me to it, but again, i wanna give it a couple go's then invest on somthing a lil better

What is DWC system just wondering ?
check the links i posted it explains. its just a quicker way of growing. i would say its alot better for noobs. u just grow the plants above the res where the roots grow down and in the water check my first growjournal in my sig for some pics.

Dude, your setup is like your name--ELITE!! Subscribed!

I'm pumped for your grow--adding all that reflective material beforehand is really going to pay off!! How big is the reservoir on that bad boy??

Guys for real this is my first grow and im the type of dude that if im gonna do something I wanna do it right! plus why risk it for small reward right? Anyways Its a 18 gallon rubbermaid roughneck, A 396 pump from lowes ,4 feet of indoor/outdoor 1/2 inch hose,Microsprayers which can be bought from your local hydro store, 3 t joints and 8 metal clamps, as well as white end caps which 4 are needed. Also an airstone and air pump, cardboardox with mylar taped to it, I beleive thats it
That easy guys! Im sure I will need help because I have heard so many different things about when to stop the veg nutes after flowering so its gonna be a joint decision between all of us and hopefully we will be right.
