newb question

hey everyone im in the middle of my grow. My question is a simple one. Ive heard people say when you use hps you should get about 1/2 gram per watt is that dried weight? thanks in advance

i don't think it is that simple...i'm still a newb, but there are so many variables. The strain, the medium, distance of light from plant, nutes, and many other variables all factor in to the final yeild.

believe me I know, all my question is when people refer to oh you know you should get 1/gram per watt or 1/4 gram or gram are they speaking dried wait believe me I know all the things that factor into yield lol

Nutes, time, strain, ph,n, hps bulb quality, watering regime. Too many factors to calculate. Good luck

yes, it's dried/cured weight... it's just an efficiency scale for what you should shoot for with your level of growing experience... a good efficiency target is 1 gram per watt of dried/cured bud; although as stated above, this is dependent on multiple other variables!
