I have six plants....3 are doing great, 3 are looking quite ill. Specs first: 3 nirvana northern lights, 1 dinafem cheese, 1 dinafem white widow, and 1 paradise delahaze under 18/6 schedule using 14 23w cfls - 10 5700k and 4 2700k in fox farm soil and nutes in 5 gallon smartpots using r/0 water. These plants range in age from 2 months to 1.5 months. I topped 4 out of the 6 about 3 weeks ago and have experienced problems since. I thought the problems were related to the stress of topping; however, I started watering more and they seemed to do a little better. Now I fear I am overwatering and overfeeding a little, but it seems to me that something else is going on. Why are three of my plants looking so shitty under the same conditions as the others???? What can I do to restore them to health??? Please help, I've been trying for weeks (:wall:) to get this sorted, +rep and my eternal gratitude!!! Here's some pics, each plant has two pics:

possible issues:
combination of over nute, insufficient air flow leading to excessive heat causing heat stress. small saplings dont need much plant food or light to get started. The ones thriving are much hardier being able to handle the current conditions.

possible solution:
flush w/ph'd water(5.8-6.2), introduce a small circulation fan blowing directly onto plants which constantly need fresh air to help evaporate plant waste and helps strengthen their stalk/branches. adjust lights higher or evenly spread lights out. small saplings dont need much more than some phd water, 18-6 light, and constant fresh air to really get started, once you have about 6-7 decent nodes you can top plant in half take the top as a clone and give em a week. next feed introduce smallest nute dose, once they get a taste for plant food they want more to store in their leaves and grow mass kahunas ;-)

is RO water just a fancy wae of saying filtered water?(not the same but the outcome is ?) if it is! your plant is missing out on the heavier minerals you get in tap water , it also looks like a lockout maybe due to that!!! so get that and your PH sorted and give it a few days... yer wee plant should pick up... Happy growing........
