New Year, New Light, and My New Grow

Well the grow isn't totally new but the year is and so is my light. Here are the new contestants to start the year off. This was actually a few days into December.

I flipped the light schedule on December 14. They were under my old circus fleabay lights.

I had been thinking about replacing the China mart leds with an hps but there is no way I can deal with the heat so I started thinking about DIY led light. I started ordering parts and the day after Christmas I finished making my light.

I hung the new light over my garden that night and the plants really seem to like it. Today makes 6 days and the new growth is amazing.Day one. Day 6

I replaced one of the cheap lights and I'm just waiting on my drivers to replace the other one. The first light has 2 vero 29s at 3000k. They are both being powered by one 100 watt driver. My next light will consist of 2 vero 29s at 3000k and one at 5000k. They will rah be one three 50 watt drivers. Thanks for stopping bye.

Day 8
Here they are today.

Here they are day 15 under the new light and day 27 since the flip. I have 1 velvet pie, 2 Curious Jorge, 1 false teeth, 1 crater lake v5, and 1 GDPPBC. I also started a few more just because. A purple jazz that is in a mini-Hempie, a fangbanger og, and gods power.

It's alive! Just need to get them mounted. I can't wait to swap out the last circus light.

Finished my light today and got it hanging over the girls. I've got @250 watts of DIY Vero 29s. Hoping to get at least 150-180 grams.

So whats the run down on your dirt pots? I see you said you had 1 hempy style.

It's a little experiment in a 16 oz cup. I didn't have enough perlite to fill up a bigger container.

Velvet Pie and Curious Jorge is starting to frost up. My little crater lake v5 is doing its thing also. Thanks goes out to anyone who stops in here. Questions and comments are more than welcome.

Day 48. Garden is starting to pack on the weight. Hopefully this run will be close to finished in time to start the party cup comp.

I took the girls out tonight for the weekly clean up and nanner check. Guess what I found? Not a nanner but a bright green seed sticking out of a calyx. Looked the plants over three times and still didn't see any bananas. There has to be one or more somewhere. I dug the seed out to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me. Sure as shit it was a seed!
