new way to flush

saw a video where when harvesting it is suggested before you trim and dry you cut the plant down at the main stalk at a 45 degree angle just above the grow medium. Then place the stalk in a large vase of plain water. let the plant drink up the water then repeat. then hang to dry. to me this makes absolute sense in terms of getting a real flush. since no matter how much water you run thruyour medium your still gonna have nutes there. this way just like fresh cut flowers they use up only what is left in the plant itself. Yes - No what do you think ?

I have read about this to but never tried it. I'm a firm believer in learning by doing, so was considering doing this with my next harvest (about 4 weeks out...... Hopefully).

It's a great method if you only have a few plants. For larger grow - this method is uncontrollable.

Hey did you or any one try this yet, im about 3 weeks away from harvest and this is something that im interested in trying if it makes a difference. This is my first grow so I would like to get the final product as soon as possible so i can taste it but it i need to wait another week or so to make it better I will.

Flushing in dwc sounds to be the same :-) fresh, clean water yum. Because of that I feel a flush session of 1 week in dwc is fine but thats jmo.
