yayyyyy,,just picked up new enclosed reflector for my closet,and a 600 watt hps ballast and socket to fit,,hadda call the stoner back and tell him he forgot the bulb,,will pick up later today:bigjoint:,,but even better,,i bid on a pyrex bread tube on e-bay and it's on it's way,,and with the 400 watt hps I have now,I'm makin a cool tube that will accompany the 600 in my closet,,and I'm gonna grow some shit this time:clap:

I just orderd a 400 W HPS yesterday... and forgot to order extra bulb too!!!! And It was only 12 bucks each if you orderd them with the light... but seperatly there 25 each... Damn my retartidididty!

what are pyrex bread tubes? and what are they used for... I googled it and got shit on bread in a bowl...

Dude you are totaly going to dig having your plants closer to the lights. Vented reflectors have a bitchen effect on your plants.

search on e-bay for pyrex bread making tube,,it's a round pyrex tube,,and you put it in the oven with some bread dough in it,,and you get like a frenck stick,,or round bread

well,,,to make your own cool tube you do,,unless you know where to find 4-5-6-7- inch round glass that can take the heat,,pyrex is the type of glass it's made from,it can take the heat,,my 400 will be inside the tube with a strong enough fan to expell all and any heat comin from it,,I'm not putting a reflector in it so I can hang it right in the center of them all,,giving much needed lower light to what would be popcorn bud,,ok,,technically I'm doin it for fun,,but really I'm quite serious about gettin more light to my plants,I don't top or lst,i have 8 feet high to play with,my current grow is 4-5 ft high,,so I need more lower light

Ohhh I see... I thought you were putting the pyrex tube in the reflector...

So corect me if I'm wrong... When you buy a colling reflector... all you need to do is put in the fan and attach the hoses right?
