New To Top Drip Feed, possible pump problems?

Like the title says, im new to top drip feed as I typically do flood and drain. My current setup changed and the res size I have wont fill high enough for my pots of hydroton to be properly watered. So I ventured in to converting the flood and drain in to a top feed drip system.

I went and bought this kit from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SG1WXCS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I set up the green Y connector to the pump, ran the 1/4" lines from the pump up to the pots and used the stakes to feed the lines around the pots. Everything was working great in the beginning but after 1 day of running (3 x 15 min. on times with lights on), the pump has started to sound like it's going to explode. The pump went from a low hum that couldn't be heard with everything closed, to a disturbingly loud buzz that can be heard behind multiple closed doors in a different room (I've honestly never heard a water pump get so loud).

If I run the pump with no connectors it's fine. If I run it with a simple connector and add a line of 1/2" tubing to it and let it run it's fine. As soon as I add the green Y connector it gets really loud again.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is there a different way I should be utilizing these pieces to get 2 outlets coming from the pump to the 1/4" drip lines?

Thanks in advance

I don't get it. Shouldn't the Y connector be right at the pump? Maybe if you make us a youtube video of it more people will have a suggestion.

Yeah i can make a YouTube video in a little bit. But I've tried connecting the Y connector straight to the pump and that seems to make it the loudest. It seems like the more tubing and distance I put from the pump and the Y connector the less sound the pump makes. So maybe I need a smaller pump? The one I have is the eco 370 gph

Here you go, let me know if I'm being dumb I'm completely ignorant to these drip irrigation things. Im used to just connecting 1/2" tubing and using flood and drain connectors lol
