New to rockwool

I’m brand new to rockwool and decided to grow 4 plants out. They are in 6x6 cubes.
I took clones and started those in the mini rockwool. They are just now growing into the 6x6 cube. The new growth appears to be getting a deficiency. I just soaked the cubes/ watered the cubes yesterday. The cubes are currently wet.
The clones were transplanted to the 6x6 on 8.16.19.
Ec was 1.6.
And ph was around 5.5-5.9 (my ph pen crapped out and had to order another one. Should be here tomorrow. I had to use this ph tester solution vile thing this last time)
Just sprayed for PM. That’s why they are wet.
It is a DTW. Right now I’m just hand watering tho.
Should I be able to just resoak the cubes in the ph corrected nute solution? Or should I just go ahread and wait until I get some dry going on then just re water with the ph corrected/ pin pointed.

New to this so some questions,these are on a tray to catch run off?Do these get fed via feed line on top or do you flood and drain?1.6 ec is kinda high isnt it for a clone?Your doing this on carpet in a bedroom?

My 2 cents worth. A 6x6x6 block can easy weight over 6 pounds soaked. You want to let them dry back to 2 or 3 pounds so your roots have to go to work.

If you want to re-water the blocks, you can take a lot of water out of the block by sitting it on top of another block. The moisture gradient will suck the water out of the top block.

I have found a rooted plug will got to work faster with a 4ish pound block faster than a 6 pound block. Yes, I do have a small scale and measure them...because I'm a little OCD, and I like repeatable results!

Nothing wrong with that! I’m doing my log too! The goal is to have the same ph come out with runoff as what you put in?
And the ec, if it’s down slightly, that means your plants are eating and if it rises, that means it could be salt build up and need to adjust water times, right? Am I on the right path?

Yes. And DTW is the easiest manage your PH. My favorite way to grow is with hempy buckets and measure the runoff. The RO will tell you how to tweak the feed.

yeah these cubes can be a bit tricky because of their size .. each one drink around 5 liters .. and after transplanting like say buddy you want to let it become lighter .. so roots can look for water and get nice oxygen

i dont like to use these like that .. because it always take 10 days for me to have the right dryback .. its ok plants stay nice but i prefer to multifeed as soon as possible ...

be sure to give a big runoff on the first feeds after transplanting ... because EC will climb in the blocks as it will take time to dryout at first .. so salt accumulations are unavoidable .. just be sure to reconver 50% volume of the total irrigation of the day in runoff ..

i dont use them this way anymore .. i prefer to use them in mapito style .. with only the bottom mayer of the cubewet .. drip-nft style

after that with a well rooted plant you can reduce the dryback .. and alo the runoff .. 10% runoff is enough in bloom if well dialed ..
