New to LED, vegging question

Hello, first time in the LED section. I'm wanting to keep a 3x3 tent around strictly for mothers and newly rooted cuts. I will still be using other tents with HPS for flowering, just done consuming so much electric with MH's. I'm debating between pretty expensive and fairly cheap. Kind k3 L600 or Mars II 700. For the price, I could have 2 of the Mars' but I'm not afraid of the price and usually believe you get what you pay for. Anyone have an opinion as to whether the price is justified in buying the Kind for just keeping moms, and fresh cuts going? I see Kind also makes a (veg) version of their 600, but don't see any data or reviews from anyone. Kind of figure for that price you may as well buy the full spectrum, but again I've never dabbled with LED. Thanks for any advise!

I looked into building one a while back but final build cost prevented me from proceeding. That was for a full grow lamp though so perhaps I wouldn't need as many cobs. I was shooting for 16 in a 4x4 spread then. Would 4 cobs be sufficient for a 3 x 3. I want to keep the moms small but I also don't want a lack of light and end up with skimpy cuts either.

2 75w cobs would be plenty for veg, maybe 2 CXB3590 3500 or 4000K 72v versions on a hlg-120h-c1050. Keep the mothers under the cobs and clones off to the side. I wouldn't use more cobs for light distribution since having the lamp offset would make sense, but if you wanted more efficiency you could run 4 CXB3590 36v on the same driver, or look into some of the Citizen options.
