new to hydro, timer question!!!!

So basically I am an expeirenced soil grower and have always been cautious with light leaks and lights on my ac during dark period of flowering. Well this is the first time I am flowering a hydro set up with timers, I am in the end of the first week and I just had a light bulb go off in my head and I got nervous about the lights on the timers that kick on for 20 mins 4 times a day. One is a little green light and the other is a red light, I will most likey put tape over tonight but just wondering if there will be any negative affects thus far.

Any feedback would be great.

You mean the tiny led operational lights on your timer? Don't worry about those. No need to tape. My tri-meter display is pretty well illuminated, but it's not enough of a light source to affect the dark cycle.

hey thanks alot lordjin your journals are sick, i was just worried because ive heard horror stories about herrmie plants from light leaks or red lights on ac systems, thanks alot.

Much love.

Hey, being paranoid about little details is just a sign of a committed grower. I had the very same fear about my tri-meter's light at some point, so we all go though it.

Throw up a pic of these 'little lights' on your timer or whatever it is. I just want to be sure I know what I'm telling you.

so i found a pick of the exact timer with the light on i will try to attach it. if it doesnt not attach just google hydrofarm digital timer and there is tons of pics
Much love.

I converted a empty bedroom into my grow lab, I have the house modems and routers in there that have blinking LED lights.. Its fine dont worry..Hell my Co2 controller has Green LED lights that tell you PPM of co2 .

Green leds are safe to use in grow rooms after lights out the red could case an issue but would have to be within inches of the plant to have any affect.
