New to Growing

yo lucky long time no see, looking realy good man they are looking really sativa, long flowerers. 1 week dude and you are gonna have some sweet smoke drying. when i dry mine i cover the weed so its dark wqith a carbon filter sucking the smells out and a small fan in there for air circulation. this will help prevent bud mold. i hung a 400 watt HPS above the little home made tent to keep the temp up above 18c. anything below this and bud mould is almost certain. i constructed the tent out of drying racks sealed air tight and light tight with white and black visqueen. the carbon filter was atached to the visqueen with ducting and i made it air tight with ordinary duct tape. drying weed smells like fuck. dont forget to have a hygrometer in there to monitor temp and humidity. MAKE SURE TEMPS ARE ABOVE 18C AND HUMIDITY IS BELOW 50%. 10 days and its fairly smokable. what i do is pinch a weeks worth of smoke and cure the rest. any Qs on curing send me a message. i hope this helps dude, BTW merry fucking christmas!

I was thinking I haven't heard from you in while ,Thanks for the tips on drying I have a box made with hanging strings but now you have me thinking its not enough now I have to worry about keeping it warm,I might stick a small heater up when i'm drying and have it on a timer.hopefully this will help

heaters are prob better, i used the Hps lamp because it was there and just as effective. plants are looking good mine went purple i think it looks cool.

Hello RIU what is the fuckin story so much for my xmas smoke its not even going to be new year smoke :cry:

Any the following pics were taken with the lights off I can't get home earlier to take pics when the lights are on so they are not the best ,the first few were taken the 24th and the rest were taken today :weed:

Just think about all that properly grown weed you gunna have man, think about all the times you got weed and its been neglected and cut too early, think about how you waited where others have failed to do so, and by doing this, you will be grateful towards yourself and MJ man.. :eyesmoke:

I have a feeling that its the CFL that cause the flowering to take longer next time i think its HPS for me :hump:

No it started on 200w at the moment I 620w of 2700k CFL,one 200w,one 250w and two 85w :weed:

I was thinking the same thing man.. apparently you get fatter nugs off a HPS, but i wouldn't know cause ive never used CFL's.. :mrgreen:

Yeah so its seems the buds don't feel tight or hard, I know they still have to dry but I don't think I gonna get big buds at all but wtf about i'm growing weed and thats good enough for me :weed:

But definitely gonna go HPS next time

HPS is the way to go if you are growing more than 3 plants, i go by 100 watts per plant. i use 2 400 watt HPS so i grow 8 plants. still luckys set up is in my opinion very effective. keep it up bro! not long know

Well thats my point shrigpiece I have 620w of CFL when I could use 1 400w HPS and grow 4 amazing plants :weed:

rather than 3 ok plants with my 620w but I have to admit my set up isn't ideal and maybe i could do better with the same lights better set up :-P

patience has won... i wish i wish i had waited many grows in many of my pre grows but seing yours reminds me the grass is greener in the other side... for a reason , iam blasted lol... any how congrasts now sell some and get your mother a new sealyng ,you cock graver you crazy mother grower... you got balls ... nice grow , is good to see that there few teens out there that dont give a fuck... safety first doh... :shock:
