I am fairly new to the grow scene but have a couple under my belt. I keep reading as much as I can about BB and most say there a bitch to grow. They seem ok to me I'm going to go take some pictures in a little bit and I'll come back and try to post them. Then hopefully some of you people will comment. I would appreciate it.

Dude, I tried to hatch 10 of these things and so far only 2 have really survived with another 1 struggling along to get its head out of it's shell. I tried to pluck the damn thing out & it only got more pissed off so I'm leaving it be. The other 2 seelings are showing some burn after a PH swing with no PH balanced tap water & now seem to be asking for some nutrients by turning bright yellow whereby the other leaves were toast after the PH problem. This strain is uber picky & finicky to the point that I seriously wanted to give up growing. But then I went & ordered 10 more seeds to give it another go. :D

Does any body have an opinion on these. Thank you.

I've been trying to get as much good info about bb as possible as I've got "Original Blueberry" seeds in the mail from m-s.nl (80/20- I/S). But I can't seem to find anything consistent about growing this strain. I'm going to grow these girls 12/12 from seed using a CMH in a PC case using small pots and homemade organic soil with strict organic fertilizer, lots of good drainage. If you have experience with bb in a micro-organic-soil grow I'm all ears.

So far I've picked up the following info that's been repeated in a few places.
1. Grown in soil, does well with less nutrients, some hardly feed during the first 4-6 weeks of bloom.
2. problems with heat, leaf deformation at more than 85f. Needs lots of air flow.
3. wide phenotypic range
4. bushy, not easy to grow compact
5. may require trimming
6. two to three different types of smoke reports
7. strains are varied between seed banks
8. pH control important
9. Responds well to topping and trimming, topping helps to increase yield
10. bb has been known to put out more than one main cola, likes to top itself.
11. cloning can be a challenge.
12. molasses a few weeks prior to flushing helps the bb flavor.
13. a good flushing and curing is critical to flavor.
14. not a good strain for a lazy farmer.
15. likes to be tied and twisted, SM style.
16. The Dutch Passion strain may hermie. The DJ Shorts strain tends to be more stable.
17. 8-10 weeks of bloom, many report going 9 and 10 weeks before harvest.

This will be my first time growing bb and I'm thankful to anyone who knows how to keep these girls happy.

I started flowering mine on july 14th and the pistols hav'nt started to turn red yet. Am I doing something wrong? I am using organic promix for soil &. 1x 400 watt hps plus a 65 watt cfl and acouple smaller 23 watt cfls.

I am 5 weeks into my auto buleberry from Dutch Passion seeds. As you can see even after just two weeks of flower (another 5 to go) she is already starting to look purple and very healthy. This is my 2nd grow ever so it cant be that hard to grow!!
