New to forum. First half assed grow.

I threw one in a flower pot of straight MG (I know I know) mixed with compost I didnt use any nutes, just water and light to see what would happen. I built a box that is 2x2x3 inside totally wrapped in Mylar with two 4 banger lamp sockets running a total of around 250 watts. Two 6 inch CPU fans for ventilation. Obviously a total noob but I'm here to learn go easy man
2 -6700k 40watts
2 -2700k 40 watts
4 - 2700k 23 watt

What's the best soil and nutes for auto's?

Awesome non babied grow bruh! Plant looks fine for what it is that you have done.... Just Lowryder isnt the most potent choof around. Try some good genetics and grow them just the way you have this one... but add nutes as needed

Looks like a bigger pot would have helped you out a little. Lights look like they did well though. Small container size can make nutrient burn easier to come by.

but at 200 plus watts you maybe better off with a LED..?

its about 80 days old it had a slow Stacey at a seedling!! Thanks everyone!!

Bubblenut do you have any suggestions for other autos? I'd halve two at the most in the cabinet

Good job dude. Peeps hate on the MG but it works bro. My first was MG too man. It works fine. Your plant looks awesome especially for a first timer.

MG= Miracle Grow = Scotts = Monsanto

you guys may not know that ....or even care yet..?

but theres much better shit out there and cheaper too

I agree bro. I'm not a big MG fan or trying to advertise for them. But it works fine is easily sourced and cheap. Some of us can't afford Fox Farm. Prolly last 10 or whatever I've been doing hempy bucket all perlite in a plastic bucket from the dollar store. And Lucas formula with GH Maxibloom(I know bro, lol). Anyway, some of us have to maintain a budget and do with we can. BTW, hempy bucket and Lucas formula is about the cheapest and easiest method I know of to grow and what I would reco to a noob. Right now I've started a compost bucket and may try organic when it's done using Amazon bloom and MG pray mosss and lots of perlite. I've done hydro too and it was more trouble than I wanted to go through PHing everyday. I just want to throw water at it ever few days. I'm kinda lazy. I certainly do not disagree with you bro. I like your threads and knowledge. Peace and love.

I would stick to just one plant in that space you have... however if you can build a box 3foot wide by 2foot deep and 4foot high you could ram 3 in there in 7 -10litre pots.
You will be restricting growth size via the pots, and it will keep your growspace manageable and neat. Rarely have i had an auto over 4 ft tall.....
Check out some of Vostocks grow journals and info links. I believe him to be very good and thorough with his write ups....

Looks good. Maybe a little easier on the nutes.

For mg soil that feeds keep it on the drier side and won't burn as bad.

Why half as anything?
