New to cob

Hello, I've been saving for a new light and have been considering cobs after doing research. I run a 1000 watt hortilix in a 4x4 tent and usually pull a pound or a little more. Space is the issue as I can only pull so much from a 4x4. I've been leaning towards two 300 watt vero v7 kits from timber but just wanted some input for the size of my tent. I am not wanting to buy everything and build myself, just a personal preference. Is 600 watts overkill? Thoughts?

To get same yield yeah, 600-700 actual watts
Put in two 500 (ish) watts or 3 x 300 (ish) and your yield will go up, and you will still save electricity on the environmentals.
Go with multiple panels for coverage and fault tolerance. You will likely have to retool your ventilation as well.

When I say actual I mean actual watts drawn from the wall.

Thanks for the input, I see people pulling 1 g/watt so I figure 600 may be enough. Do you think 2 lbs is doable in a 4 x 4 tent? This is my current run and in expecting 500 grams. She's pretty full in there

So many variables. If you start young and FIM the crap out of them, you could end up with plants with 12+ colas each and then lolipop i guess, probably do it. With a 1000 watts LED, i should think so. A gram a watt is ideal, maybe more if you are lucky or skilled. Sort of depends how you grow.

If you are pulling 500 now with 1000 watt HID, if you go 1000 watts LED you will pull 700 ish probably without changing your style of growing. Just a different way to look at it.

Ok thanks, it just has to be worth the 1200 or so I'd be dropping. I'd like to pull the same with half the wattage or 500 go with a 600 watt. If I bought 600 watts of vero v7 would it pull 600 at the wall or less
