Nope, it's not LM301b.
Count the diodes and consider, LM301b is a 0.5w mid power diode.
This seems to be the Osram Duris E10, same diodes as in the latest BudMaster Growlights.
It's a 11.4w "multi-diode/mini COB", running at 38v / 300mA with up to 1800lm (datasheet).
Here they are a driven lower at ~ 100mA for 3-4w per diode and up to 180lm/w.
Between the whites are additional red, probably Osram Oslon horti's in 660nm.

Take a look at the close-ups on their website and compare them to the image in Osram's data sheet.
If it's not Osram it must be something very similar but I know nothing comparable so far.

BTW,
datasheet is in one of my other posts, if interested...
Would like to see strips using these diodes..
Isn't SK still a CREE horti partner?.........

180 lm/w is really good, are they running it at 100mA you think? Something tells me they are driven much harder hence the heatsink, also that i only quickly counted 60 main *cobs* on there.... Everything else looks like a handful of watts at best, so it seems like they are running the cobs at 9ish watts to me.

I've only counted the diode# from their SK600{168pcs+28hyperreds), the SK400 seems to have 60x E10 and 40x 3 or 5w diodes(looks like Osram Oslon or XP-G's). Maybe they run a bit harder at ~5w, would be ~300w from the Duris and ~100w from the 3watters.
I think they are for people who are looking for an HPS replacement and still want a point light source. That a more homogeneous light distribution leads to better results, many have not yet understood.

nice shiny advert

cheaper than the one i bought a few years ago..so i was a[disappointed] customer

there is ..much better out there..

but but look...they painted the new fixture white..
I know. Why? It can't help with heat dissipation. But neither can the two drivers sitting on top. HID growers have run remote ballasts for, like, ever - I wonder why more LED companies don't do it? I remote wired my 240w driver and it gets quite warm.

its handy to order a self contained unit..get china to insert the diode of your choice ..and just sell em
innovations take work....this makes dough fast and is ip65

cree or not..does anyone know the actual wattage of this 600w sk..

or is it 600 w driven at 600w?

but yeh..painting it white will do the trick..

dang why didn't we think of that..?

I just realized that they don't even use the 500w capable heat sink. They are only using the 4 heat pipe model, not the 6 heat pipe model. Most China sites that I looked at run the 4 HP model under 400 watts. Here's the one I bought years ago, built to my spec. for less than SK. I do have to admit they are some sick heat sinks if someone rethought how to build it. The SK would be better if you pull out one of its drivers for another project and run it on only one driver. Active cool that heatsink and I'd imagine the possibilities are endless lol.

I have thought about that, but I don't have any stadiums to light up:bigjoint:
3 CLU058 3618's @ 250w each ( fan assisted). I like:blsmoke:
@nevergoodenuf one topic that has come up in this thread is "Single high power light source" vs spreading cobs or mid power diodes over the whole canopy. I know you rock the high power approach. Do you have any insight on the benefit/negatives of that approach vs the more spread out approach?

The reflectors I design are to maximize the spread, so my coverage is fairly even over the area it is designed around. Usually one bounce to the canopy. So far I have found 250 watts is the highest wattage I like to run a COB at. That lets me keep the light around 18" to 24" with the coverage I am looking for. I have used as low as 20 watts per square foot with great results (4 @ 250 each). The pic is a light I built next to the SK, both are around 500w. I still think he should use more area per light, but I'm not one to tell people how to grow.471.jpeg

For a high end led light, I think Unit Farm UFO-320 is more affordable and worth its price if you compare its specification with other America brand led

Yeah, they seems to be a little better but you should provide a link when you make allegations like this..
