So I am still a little unclear as to the "new species" title? You're not trying to create a new one with the varieies listed that would just be a hybrid variety.

Your absolutely correct. I'm trying to create a new Genus out of cannabis. I think inbreeding visible mutations and treating seeds with mutagens will help. I'll know when it's complete if it's unable to hybridize with other strains.

a new genus or a new species? right now from everything you said you are looking at a new variety, strain, or species. no way in hell will you creat a new genus, lol OMG. you use a lot of big words but what kind of schooling do you have in this area? because it really sounds like you are half-assing with big vocab and dont really know shit about what you are doing.

a horticulturist perspective would want to call it an ornamental variety, and from botanical it would be a new genus

if the said experiments are successful
