New Soil Amendment

I woke up this morning early to possibly a really good idea for a new soil amendment. What if you were to use coconut shell activated charcoal in your soil?

This is what I do know about avtivated charcoal and what it does: it is used for human ingestion and water filtering processes. It is like a natural antibiotic for the human body. You can either use it to detoxify your body, heal poisonous bites on your skin, if you ate something that made you sick, take some coconut shell activated charcoal and your good to go.

On the other hand, charcoal is used for water purification in terms of a natural filter. It will grab onto impurities such as: nitrates, phosphates, bacteria and many other chemicals. This is where my idea comes into play.

If you were to give activated to the plant at the end of its flowering period, would the coconut shell activated charcoal suck out all the chemcals to give the freshest, cleanest, purest, dankest goods?

Thanks everyone.
