I’m very happy with my Sentinel controllers for CO2 n lighting . I use the grozone Day night fan controller, n they do a good enough job, I try to keep it simple.

All you need is light, ventilation,circulation, and filtration. The stronger the light the more it will yield.. up to a point. Over 600w of his will need co2 to reach max potential. Co2 should be the last thing you add after everything else is perfect.
 
Just a note on designing a hobbies garden. First decide how much you need to produce this will tell you the size light you need, then chose an area in which you can control the heat produced by the light. If the area is to small like a closet or tiny bed room you may need ac. If the house has heat and ac most decent sized bedrooms are fine. Or a basement. Every light has an optimal footprint so pick a tent that matches your light next. Then mach your ventilation and circulation to the size of your tent. Then match the filtration to the ventilation.

southern ontario, dry cold most of winter here, also boiler/hot water baseboard heating so humidity is quite low in winter(dec-march) indoors.
Have AC unit 6 feet from tent which is 45 square feet(9' by 5 ' ) 7 feet high if needed when weather warms up.
I feel LED requires less humidity/heat control, thinking of going with 70 liter unit see how that holds up.
Variable speed exhaust controller has helped dial in humidity for now.
Running 1300 watts LED lighting samsung/HGL, but just 500 watts veg till flower right now
Anyone know of a good dehumidifier under say $800 that might work in this space available in canada?
Not too sure which will create the least heat/noise/power use?
On a tight budget so 1500 canadian with taxes./shipping/duty is out of question for Quest unit although it does seem like great product.

I am not experienced enough with tents to answer that intelligently. I ran a sealed room and it's a pain regarding necessary air exchange. Temperatures were another issue even in an otherwise unheated upstairs room in Alaska. In my case. Others will have better information hopefully.

Check kijiji for a unit like Dri ez 1200
Very popular model for floods etc.

Not the most efficient etc but will get you a few crops, should be able to pick up a used one in your budget.

I’m selling one tonight with around 7000 hours. Still works good, just not 1/2 of what the Quest is , but it got me thought till I replaced them with Quest.

Edit .... DRIZAIR 1200...

ok, thank you for the advise.
so far it has been so dry here I have not needed it but time is coming when I will.
I heat with baseboard hot water so it is very dry in my place and tends to be dry here in winter and cold so no lack of cool dry air to bring in to tent.

I wondered how many plants do you run with the Quest unit?
Hard to figure out as you use HID versus LED for me so I have read others suggest way less humidity using LED and so far seems to be the case.
This is just a medical grow so not to worried on output more interested in good quality.
I appreciate your offers of advice , your Canadian?

The Quest units are based off square footage not plant count . I have a couple 105s. One takes care of 20ish plants, the other takes care of 100ish . Very different setups .
Ya I’m Canadian.

I would just keep it simple to start ,
No Dehumitifer, no C02 .
As you get better , add to it .
