You can grow 1212 from seed. They might be alittle slower but that's it. I have flowered a seedling doing that, only got about 6g but it was good.
You can go probably a solid 2 or 3 weeks under 1212 before the plant tries to start flower. But it would be alright to flower for 4 or 5 weeks than reveg outside if you wanted

I wouldn't. Messing with photoperiod can stress the plant and take away vigor. I don't know how many seedlings you have, but $40 will buy two flourescent shop lights that you could put them under until you transplanted outside.

True, there is some stress there, and that creates the chance for a hermie but people reveg plants all the time. Usually it ends up fine.

It might end up fine but it's not going to hit it's full potential. Why not go 18/6 or 20/4 or just 24?
He's putting the seedlings in the flower room

18/6 or 20/4 is better than 24/0 because youre spending the extra money on electricity and it doesn't make a big difference in the plant. Also it slows root growth since they grow the most during the night.

More roots more fruits

Sounds good to me lol that will gradually adjust the plant to long hours. Just make sure you won't get a frost where you live. Anything below 50 can hurt a marijuana plant.
